Yes as your status expired now, you can apply under new policy. Make sure you apply restoration application too . No you don’t need anything to apply for new open work permit under new policy.

Mine too, from profile/updated it went back to Your action is required and i can not open my application

Now i can open my application and its back to last update.... Your Action is Required.
I thought i get medical passed today, i even able to screen shot my profile showing profile/updated... now it disappear and went back to the last update your action is required.... why is it so?????

it is been 1 year same status for me. called CIC few times and was told that file is natural progress and security and medical has not started.
