Hi All ! My aor is March 12th, CEC inland.
I got a request to furnish the current address for all the folks on file. Did anyone receive a similar request from IRCC and any idea what this means ? We were really hoping to get some positive movement on the file, but the officer chose to ask petty questions instead of proceeding with the file processing. Also there was no slot to upload the document on my account, so my rep had to submit a webform, which will take forever to get to the officer. My wife and I are living in Canada since 2017, so I’m not sure what the officer wanted to know. My file has passed all stages and waiting for final decision since Oct 29th. Any insight would be really helpful. Thanks a lot.
validating your address/presence in canada is part of the inland landing process, this is progress! only being able to do it via webform is mighty annoying though, hopefully it follows a different track than the usual webforms that are taking 3-4 weeks to answer.

They just want to confirm that you are presently in Canada , you will get COPR shortly after uploading the documents.
Thanks for your reply. From what I knew, they usually request us to confirm the address after taking a final decision but in my case they want to know the address before even taking the final decision. my wife and my meds have expired.

thanks for sharing your insight. Ya, it’s sucks to not being able to upload the document. IRCC really knows how to test our patience. Sigh ...

I was asked to upload IMMR5406e on 11th August and was acknowledged on 12th August. (there was a slot on document section of my application). And since then all of my stages shows as passed (I believe since 24th August.)

I got a ghost update few weeks back and today I got to know my file is under file sharing (even though criminality, security and eligibility have passed).
Honestly the only thing we can do is wait. If PGWP is expiring, we can extend PGWP or apply for Bridging work permit.

Good luck.
Is your medical extended and what do you mean by info sharing?

March 20, 2020, AOR. I called them yesterday, and it looks like there is no movement in the file since July last year. COR - USA. Anyone in the same situation.?

Anyone else got a ghost update in the last 1-2 days? What does a ghost update really mean?
I received a ghost update as well. I didn't see anything change except my medical has expired and I see the default "you don't need a medical exam....." message. This is exactly one year from my AOR March 12. I think its something that's automated rather than some officer picking up my file. If its true my application has been picked up I am really happy about it, but with this pandemic I don't think anything good ever happens.

Biometric done on October 26. I can see the number on portal but the status still says "you have not provided your biometric..."
Did you check Gcms? If it's still showing not provided then most likely your fingerprints were not clear while submitting bio.

Hello Guys,
AOR 22 March 2020
Biometrics: 4th Nov 2020

Everything is passes except Security which is not started yet. Last update on my file is on 9th Nov 2020

My LMIA based work permit is expiring on 8 May 2021. I got short duration work permit because my passport was expiring on May 8th. Now, I got the new passport. Please advise Should I go for LMIA work work permit extension or BOWP?

I am an Inland CEC applicant. I got my GCMS notes today which states that Counterfoil required (temporary Visa) but I don't have one. My Visa was expired in 2019. Please advise if Temporary Visa necessary for Security or COPR.
