Really appreciate, if one can post the format of the parent's "marriage certificate" and sponsor's "birth certificate" format. While applying PR, I used notarized copy of my (sponsor) birth certificate. Can I use the same even now ?

Hi all, weird situation. My in-laws are June 2019 applicants. They asked for Bio just for my FiL and PCC for both which was submitted right away in January 2020. It was radio silence till Dec 15 2020, they requested medical and now passed on Jan 20, 2021. Just a few days ago, they are now asking for my MiL’s biometrics, is this normal? Just odd that they didnt ask bio for both in January 2020.
I requested an extension and my parents didn't have medical, I got their extension for 1 year from original request (6 m from date of desicion) without any medical . I guess medical is not needed for an extension

Apparently no movement for June 2019 applicants. Waiting for Medical, also from June 2019.
dont understand why IRCC is accepting new applications at the moment for parents/grandparents when there are so many from 2019 which are still stuck.

Also have a question .. is the 3 month waiting period for OHIP still waived off for COPR holders due to COVID or no and they have to bring insurance with them? Please let me know

I don't even know why they are not doing anything with the file I mean it is far too much time we have been patient enough

Application still says In process on ECAS so I doubt its PPR.
