dont be. It will come. Perhaps send a webform and ask for a status? or call them? Depends when you applied as well. Good news soon in any case.
I sent two web forms. The first they told me everything “was okay” with my info, that I should send another one for technical problems. I did, and it feels like they didn’t even read what I wrote and they just told me that there were certain types applications that would not appear in the eCAS system, and to verify that mine was one of the ones that would.... I was so angry I gave up.

I highly encourage all of you to write to your MPs, Prime Minister Office, Twitter. It is beyond me as to why it is taking so long to process a citizenship application? These delays are also causing anxiety, stress and at least to me, depression. If vaccinations are moving quick, if banks are processing mortgages quick, if I can still go to university, what excuse does IRCC have? Really, none. I'm fed up.
At this point, Canada has produced more "G7" refugees than anywhere else.
This would only work if they cared. They have COVID mask now to hide their incompetence. Sure little kids can go to school but God forbid an immigration officer get COVID, government will never forgive themselves for not keeping them safe.

Respond to them with this, feel free to copy paste " This is to confirm my citizenship application should appear in the eCAS system, as indicated by CIC initial webform response - technical eCAS issue. Please update eCAS with my information".

Do not write a long essay/message. Keep it short and simple. Once I sent a webform, my application appeared in ECAS/AOR issued. They forgot about me. so it does happen.

unreal. Delayed, OK I can accept that. But why? CIC keeps forgetting this, they are here because of us, not the other way around.

The idea of 2022 March makes me go beyond crazy. I was supposed to be Canadian ten times by now already! There is nothing acceptable about this. Tell me about that anxiety and depression. 2 years of from our lives are just being thrown in the garbage and it’s never gonna come back. Makes me mad but also I don’t know what to do anymore.

IRCC is fit candidate to bring canada a bad reputation all over the world.
They are painfully slow. This Citizenship process should not be more than 4-6 months which they take roughly 1-2 years and in some cases up to 4 years to process.

I read in one of their article that Citizenship processing is amongst their last priority. Guess the fee is not high enough for them to actually bother with it lol.

Hey Guys,

I have a question. I am currently in interview process with a US based company and they looking for Canadian Citizen candidates who can travel to USA for work on TN visa.
Can this be a reason for urgent processing of my citizenship application?
