This pre arrivals services letters are really confusing . Haha
I'm ultra confused. On the other thread, someone posted their progress and I saw they received pre-arrival services at the end. See below for what I mean:
However this isn't my main question.
- Is it normal that I don't have anything like this "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s)," do you guys have it?
- Do we have to give fingerprints for "RCMP police clearance certificate based on fingerprints"?
- What is AIP and Ghost updates?
- What steps can I take to be ready for any required document? I didn't stay in any other country other than my country of citizenship, I have dependants outside of Canada. Should my dependants get medical exam soon?
Your questions make sense but unfortunately nobody has clear answers to these questions even immigration agents do not have clear answers to anything. I would say just wait and never stress out because the process will take 23 months flat no matter what! Just go with what you receive from them!
So my guess is then if you didn't receive "pre-arrival services" letter then it moved to October 2021. Interesting...

anyone received biometrics invitation. I received the Biometrics invitation letter and then another letter today stating to disregard the previous letter. it was very strange.
anyone in same boat . So it means we december guys are not ignored anymore . atleast something is happening feels good. someone is look at it.
As far as I know all biometrics have been extended because of covid so you are good. I have not received anything after the pre arrival services. We might hear something in the coming few weeks or months. I am out of patience! I have become a liar in the eyes of my kids because I always say next month and sadly they do not know the truth that it would take more than a year for everything to wrap up.

Wait no I'm saying I have it. You can't see letters on CAS, you have to create an account and link your application to it. What I understand from what you are saying is that you don't have it linked to your account and track your application through CAS and not your IRCC account. Once you link it you may or may not have it and it doesn't really mean anything I think. I have the letter and mine is estimated to be finished on November while those who don't have it are to be finished on October.
