Just seen on official web-site when was checking my status:

Becoming a Canadian citizen (grant of citizenship)
Last updated: March 2, 2021
We’re still accepting new applications for citizenship.
We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between March 3 and 9, 2019
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.

So, it's a looooooooong queue till they reach December 2019.

Checked CIC website today. They just posted that they are finalizing applications received between March 10 and March 16, 2019 (On March 02, they were finalizing applications from March 03 to March 09 2019). Which could mean they're finalizing all applications that are exactly 2 years-due. For instance on March 16, 2021, they will start processing applications received between March 17 and March 23rd 2019. This would potentially mean that our applications will be done by December 2021. Just hang in there!

Or 12 to 18 months overdue depending on how you look at it. At the same time there all sorts of applicants getting test invites applied later than that. So knock on wood you'll get yours earlier than the end of the year

This could also mean that they are prioritizing the leftover applications from that period while also working on the new applications.
