Hello everyone, I have just received finger print request but my local police (Ajax, ON) is not doing it at the moment due to COVID. Does anyone else know where I can get it done in GTA preferably east? If this has been discussed previously then kindly point to that post as I am unable to find related information. Thanks
My wife got an email about an hour back requesting her to get her fingerprints done.
The letter was very detailed, why they want the fingerprint and also said we could approach the local police.
We have checked with Edmonton Police and they are taking appointments for digital fingerprinting, so will be going that route.
If you could update my profile with the FP request date.

FYI: found out that https://www.canadianfingerprints.com are on the RCMP list of accredited services and they have an office in Ajax.
Hi All, I made call to CIC to know application status. She told me that i am waiting for test invite. She said, BC, criminality and other checks were completed. I am not sure how much i can trust this information.
I am planning to request GCMS notes. Any suggestions regarding this step. If i request GCMS notes, will delay my application further, or Is it okay to request them to see the progress on my application.

I believe this person is a June 2019 applicant and that it was just a typo. If you look at his post history, he's been posting since August 2019. On September 5th 2019 they even asked a question about how long it would take to be invited to do the test if you applied in June.
Ordering GCMS notes will not delay your application.
Looks like it was his wife's application, not his. He is a citizen since 2014.

we send the application June 2020, they receive June 3 , they start application process September 2020 and here now March 4 to 21 they send test
Don't mean to be a downer but I really doubt they are getting their dates straight. In their post history, they even seem to imply that their June 2019 application started processing in September 2019 (see their post from September 28, 2019). If it's true it would be great though
