Most of the people who got invited under the new cut-off score were international students, they usually pay between $50k-$100k for tuition. A lot of them are hard workers and have a great contribution to the Canadian Economy. Also, a lot of them work in healthcare and they are helping Canada managing the Covid crisis. Not that I have anything against FSW applicants but accreditation of international education (I am not talking about WES) is a big problem for employers, for example, most of the engineers I know from India work as technicians because they were not able to validate their international education ( engineering is a regulated profession in Canada), same goes for doctors and nurses. Trust me man I know a lot of immigrants who don't have an English skill set like you but today they are millionaires and job providers, with that said we should keep an open mind about the immigrant policies because the people who paid taxes and tuition in Canada deserve to permanent residents.
Well said. Just to add this. For some people here, English is their 3rd or 4th language, I wonder how many people can boast of speaking and writing more than 1 or 2 languages. It’s very myopic of anyone denigrating someone else simply because of capitalization of letters. This is an informal forum not an essay writing contest.

The country needs most high quality immigrants, not those who contributed CAD or USD. If the government taking this factor into their policy, they should increase the quota of investors instead of reducing it.

Actually my point is significantly misinterpreted by you and other people.

No you don't understand my point. This person is not only missing the most fundamental knowledges of English, but most importantly, he's spreading false and misleading information in this forum: he implies IRCC is in a "reversed" order when processing cases by processing cases received in Aug 2020 first and now goes back to the ones received in May 2020. "Start processing" and "finalizing" are apparently two different concepts.
people's knowledge of english certainly can play a role in understanding a matter, however, your tone is quite condescending. If indeed he is wrong, I do not suspect that people are intentionally attempting to spread false information, that's what this forum is about. It's about sharing information and since it's public, it can be up for debate through corrections and showing sources for said information so that we can arrive ultimately arrive at the correct conclusion for any matter. it's quite simple. The official IRCC says it is "finalizing" applications in May 10-16th. Simple as that.

Depends if requested from IRCC or CBSA , see this post

Here is a detailed comparison of requesting GCMS from IRCC vs CBSA https://bit.ly/34nuJPu

All GCMS notes will have a date of generation listed at the bottom of each page and will look like this:

The date of generation is a few days after the request is filed with either IRCC or CBSA. How your application was as on the date of generation is captured in your notes.

They will remove information from after your request date though. I had some missing sections and wrote back. They replied saying info from after the request date isn’t shown.

Eg you request on 1 Jan, an officer entered a note on 7 Jan, and your notes are generated 14 Jan, that officer’s note may be removed.
