Can I count days towards Citizenship as soon as I get my COPR number OR I have to wait until I get PR card to start counting days?
I got my eCoPR through PR confirmation portal. Yesterday I tried to link my PR Card application to my IRCC profile as someone suggested in this forum and I was able to link it successfully.
The COPR mentions the date you become a PR, so you should start counting whole days from that date.
You can count days toward Citizenship from the date you became PR which is also mentioned in your eCoPR.
I tried using this now and i asked for when you became pr and all. It says cannot find pr card application. I used the link in gckey where ot says link application.
Can we count the days we spent on work permit towards the citizenship. I think max 365 days
Guys, who have successfully linked the PR card application to their GC key, did you get to know that their PR card is mailed or not?
You can counts days you spent on work permit toward citizenship but the rules says that each day you spent as temporary resident will only count as half a day towards citizenship so every 2 days you spent on work permit in Canada before getting your PR will only equal to 1 day with a limit of 365 days in total.
