During the progress of your application, you may receive 4-7 or even more GUs and some applicants will not receive any and get a PPR straight.

Hm, your answer about 4-7 GUs makes me sad... I've heard about the system of 3 GUs before the "golden mail" for those FSW Outland applicants who: A) have to visit a Biometry collection centre, and B) had an upfront medical inspection. According to the things I see, almost every case is unique and there's no single template of assessment for all cases with clear evidences or unambiguous clues of what stage my application is passing right now. And that makes us (applicants) suffer.

I was told yesterday that my file was transferred to NDVO on January 7th (AOR 22 oct, Med dec 1, bio exempt) after the eligibility was completed and sealed. Is it a good thing or a bad thing to have file transferred to my native city? Also is NDVO fast or slow in processing?
what possibly could be the reason- is my case delayed or I’m inching towards PPR?

my company gave me letter that says company name has been changed and he is still working and same noc code etc. Its like reference letter, it has new company and old company name and reason for name change.

I m on LMIA, we already gave this information to service canada now going to give CIC,
Would it be a problem in my file if name of company changed because rest every thing same,
And would it delay the processing of my application?
Criminality passed
Medical passed

GU is not a part of the law, what you hear is just anecdotal evidence. As regards as processing goes, to know what stage your application is at, you can send a webform and ask see https://bit.ly/37L9Y27 or request GCMS notes.

As regards the time frame to process, as per IRCC's annual 2019 annual report it takes 8-9 months for an application to process, and this was pre-COVID.

You become permanent resident once landing procedures are completed. That means receiving PPR, sending the passport (or copies), receiving the CoPR and physically land in Canada. After the examination at the port of entry you are permanent resident.

I believe the RR is because of the stat question, correct? Cause everything else looks positive.
I ordered another set of GCMS notes to know if the officer opened my application after it was transferred to Paris VO.
