Hey guys, I have a question to whom already has Security: Completed. If you requested GMCS notes, did your Security Completed before due date?

In my latest GMCS i's said for Security: Due Date: 26/02/2021
But does it actually work, should I expect a miracle at the end of this week lol.

Btw I also decided to request notes from Canada Border Services Agency and Canadian Security Intelligence Service
To see if they actually started my Security check.
Nope, that date means nothing unfortunately. My due date was 1 year from AoR ie 18th Feb 2021. Not even a byte of data moved on my file that day or even till today. My Security has not started. Info sharing in progress (Info sharing all data from all countries is ready, some officer needs to open, look at the data, approve and mark the security done). For fully completed COPR files, the Security field in GCMS shows empty i.e as if its not applicable. I think they just clear the Info sharing process to done and that triggers the DM. And someone else opens the file to take a final look and release the COPR.

Just call them to get an instant update if your Security started or not. Also, you seem to be my best friend :) the first candidate (like me) to start outland and turn inland midway.

Please refer to this completed GCMS (COPRed already) from one our kind friends from this group :

Better get helped by consultant. Don't risk your chance or you would regret.
If you get any clarity about the need of Licensure requirement for PR application process please post here. I asked to SINP and IRCC and did not get any clear answer. So not sure after the nomination we need to renew or not for the PR application process. But to work I think license is required.

What is the license? Is it work permit or another thing??

If your occupation is regulated in Saskatchewan, you must contact the regulatory body to learn what you will need to do to work in Saskatchewan.

Applicants to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) intending to work in a regulated occupation must provide proof of eligibility to be licensed as part of their SINP application.

Contact one of those will you?

It has link to the person who can issue your license. Because you’re working in the regulated occupation so you must have a license to work i believe

It all depends on your NOC and nature of work. I think the members in this forum, including me are not qualified to answer this very "specific to your job" question. I did NOT provide any license for OINP or the PR application. My NOC 2173 does not require me to obtain license to work.

Ok, probably the flow may be different for different country of origins etc. Or the officer who marks security complete may have different rankings and expertise. Anyways, wish you and us good luck. Its sad to see all of our files in"Not Started" phase. Atleast I wish they "start" it and something gets happening. Not Started state is not acceptable and sad.

Hello,

Can you guys help me with something.

As i m still waiting for my AOR. I have applied for federal on August,2020.

Is it ok if i go back to india and come back after 3-4 months? Will it affect my federal file?
