Don't take risk .better to wait and submit your passport inside Canada .its not taking much time now, Pakistan may be risky . As I have seen some people are getting passport in 14 days
If its taking 14 days its fine with me. But according to previous posts in this forum, they are taking 30-40 days for just stamping. Anyways, Thanks a lot.

Yes i was in inside canada . After getting permission(for stamping) from cic I travelled .
Stamping in india is fast and simple process here is the link https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/news/passport-web-form
Great!!!
Also, Is it necessary to wait in Canada until we receive PPR?
I have applied on Dec19, and looking at their current speed, I think its gonna take 3-4 weeks more to get a PPR.
Will it be okay if I travel to India, and then send passport for stamping after I receive PPR in my account.
PPR is something we would receive in our IRCC account right!, so is there a point in waiting here?

For those who are looking for the information regarding getting their visa stamped in Pakistan, I emailed High Commission of Canada Islamabad asking about it and their reply was following:

"Good day,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada operations are impacted by the COVID-19 situation. IRCC globally is currently operating with essential services only.

Please be advised that if you wish to submit your passport to the Canadian Embassy - Visa Section in the country where you are or travelling, your visa can be print over there.

You may also submit your passport in Pakistan to the nearest VAC during the time frame mentioned in your letter.

Here is the link for the visa application centre all over the world;

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/vac.asp

We trust that this information will be of assistance."

I hope this helps.

Does anyone know if we get the passport request, Can we get the stamping done from Pakistan? if anyone knows, please share their experience or just explain the whole process. Thank You
Yes, you can do that after your application gets approved. I did it myself in past but make sure you have this information with you because the immigration officers at pakistan airport don’t really know about this situation well. Soin my case they stopped me because my entry date to pakistan was earlier than the stamping date on my trv sticker. They assumed if it was a fake one.

also before my travel I confirmed this information from Ottawa office where our passports go for stamping.
Here i am quoting the message I received from ottawa office.

Please note that your application is in process. If you are in possession of your passport, you may travel outside of Canada. Please be advised that if your application is approved, you may submit your documents to a visa office abroad for processing. Please bear in mind, it will be your responsibility to contact that particular office regarding processing times. If your application is still in process or your application is refused, you will not be able to return to Canada without a valid TRV. Be advised that our office is unable to expedite processing unless there is proof of an emergency such as death or illness.”

technically they say abroad means wherever they provide services you can get stamping from there.

and if you plan to email them kindly check with the order of email. Otherwise they won’t reply.

Thanks a lot for this detailed response. I sent a webform asking for permission to submit my passport in Pakistan but I dont think they are going to respond because they are taking too much time to respond to webforms.
