Any one attended H4 visa appointment and received 221G asking to provide quarantine plan in usa?

Do you mean you got a 221g even before you attended the interview??

No, i have attended the interview today,. They gave me 221G yellow slip and asked me to send my quarantine plan in email. Currently, my case status is in Admin processing. Checking if any one had similar case and what would be the final result.
Interview was done at Ottawa.

Oh thats nice. was it an emergency request?

I guess you should be good. Once you send out your quarantine plan your case would be approved. Seems like they started it very recently about the quarantine part.

Yes, It was emergency appointment request. I requested on 02/11 and they provided the appointment confirmation on 02/12 for 02/18.

I saw lot of H4 interview experiences in India posted in immihelp.com, Consular asked most of the people for their quarantine plan during the interview and approved and never see 221G issued for quarantine plan.

May be, if any one planning to go for H4 appointment in canada, go with quarantine plan in letter so that they can handover there itself. it may help their application approved immediately.

I had my regular appointments scheduled in dec, Jan and feb and all of them were cancelled every time. The last one was on feb9th, after they cancel my appointment, requested for emergency appointment and it’s approved.

Hello guys, i am trying to book a regular appointment in vancouver for my family (we are group of 3, my spouse and kid). If i have only 2 people in the group then i see an appointment in vancouver for 7th Sep 2021, as soon as i add the 3rd perrson in the group i don't see any appointment available in vancouver and only availability in toronto for 18th October. What could be causing this? What should i be doing? Should i take individual appointments? Btw the fees is already paid for all three of us and i haven't been able to book any appointment yet for vancouver consulate.

Just to update on my appointment, i have got an email saying my visa approved. And its says that am allowed to travel with in a month only. If that changes i need to inform embassy so that they do some additional processing, not sure what is that exactly.
I didnt see anywhere that people approved and allowed to travel in a month.

My suggestion is request as group. once you split the group as individual applicant, you cant combine them. then it will be problem to get the appointment for all the three members on the same day until unless you choose the day which has more appointments, meaning you will never be able to book the earliest appointment. Not sure how you able to add third person to a group after paying, usually it will ask for payment again.

It happened to me, i had group appointment (me & spouse). when its cancelled first time, i book myself and realized that group split in to individual applicants. when i reach out to help desk, they said like we cant combine in to group due to audit issues and recommended to book on the same day.

The fee is for the group. If you edit the profile then it doesnt reset the fee. I have canceled the appointments multiple times. So they dont track the visa class for sure. You can edit anytime you want.

They wont ask. They dont track the changes what happened and research on it. We do submit multiple DS160 for correcting mistakes. They dont track and ask on it. So you can very well correct it.

It was sometime ago. Not sure now. Please email and ask if they can update the visa class for that fee record.

What type of document that you provided for emergency appointments? in the appointment section u need to attach the supporting document. Are you an essential worker? I need to book my appointment was wondering the same. Also Did you flew to Canada or drove ? Appreciate your help.

There is no need of any attachment when you request for expedite appointment. I work in Canada. I am not sure if you request from outside canada, most likely they will not approve because its not essential travel to Canada. Usually, they provide appointment in a week from the date you requested. If you plan to come to Canada from USA, you need to quarantine for two weeks and then only you can request...But, i know Canada is not allowing anyone on visitor visa for this reason, they should be exempted based on some of the reasons.
