@legalfalcon need your advice. I got my medical done on February 24th 2020 and submitted by PR application in May 2020. I got the notification that my medical passed somewhere in July 2020 and since it's only valid for a year, is there something that I need to do proactively before it completes the one year mark on Feb 24th 2021 ? I haven't received any updates on my profile but I'm just checking to be safe. Please let me know if I should do something in this regard. Many thanks in advance.....

IF you meds are expiring or have expired, IRCC will send them to the IRCC health branch, and the Regional Medical Officer will make a determination on whether to extend them or ask for a re-med.
IF a re-med is required, you will be informed accordingly. There is nothing that you have to do.
At your one discretion you can get another medical done, but that is your choice, not required by IRCC, unless asked.

Did you get your criminality and security passed?

I got my Eligibility and Security passed by him on Sept 3, 2020. And after that, it's been dead silence.

Called CIC today, got the same response I am getting since last 2 months.
Criminality in progress & Security not started.
I wonder even in the best case scenario I will not get my COPR within 1 year (MAY 2021).
Any thoughts?

I can’t believe how slow they are being, it is getting so frustrating. The last thing to happen on my application was my eligibility was recommended passed in August. According to IRCC agents, nobody has touched my file since. How is that even possible?? Every time I call they just say everything looks great, we don’t need anything further from you. It really feels like this will never end!

Does anyone know if I can change my job from the employer who supported 50 points with LMIA?
LMIA has been already expired. If I take 50 points away, my profile is under CRS cut off at the time I got ITA.

I have just emailed Minister Mendicino about the situation; not specifically about my application but about the delays in general and the impact that is having on our lives, I would recommend others do the same.
