If you applied inside of Canada, you aren't really supposed to leave Canada. Some people do, but if you happen to be turned away when you try to re-enter, your application becomes void. If you have an outland application, it is ok to travel. :)

Thanks for the reply!

What about travel through Canada on the way to Alaska?

I work on Luxury Private Yachts as freelance crew and just got a job offer that will take me through British Columbia on the way to Southeast Alaska. This will mean that I would have to get a Worker Visa for Canada....can I do that? I have recently been denied a TRV because of my family ties in Canada (my wife and daughter being Canadian) and fear that it would affect my PR application if I keep trying to gain entry into Canada.
Not sure if I should accept the offer!

Any advise would be great!

Hi,
I got ita on Feb 13th draw. I am in a closed wp valid for 1 more year. My wife is in visitor visa valid till this may 31st. She has to travel internationally by this may with my son to run some errands. As this was a mass draw, I think it may take time for the pr application to process. Can I take visitor visa for her to travel or is she need to be here when receiving the pr. Suggest me please.

Doesn't sound like a family sponsorship application. I am not sure if someone with visitor visa can re-enter during the pandemic. (currently, I read that they need authorization letter to enter if spouse is foreign worker in Canada).

She can always leave and wait to get PR from home country. I do not know the details of non-family sponsorship application details though.

I hope that you mean try to post the question in the right section of the forum. I do not encourage anyone to travel during the pandemic.
Anyone could be stuck and unable to travel back for a long time.

VISIT
Whether you're interested in outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, cultural experiences like visiting museums and galleries, or simply relaxing in natural surroundings, Canada has something to offer. Popular travel destinations in Canada include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Banff National Park, and Niagara Falls.

When planning a trip to Canada, it's important to consider factors such as budget, travel time, and the purpose of the trip, as well as to research and compare options for transportation, accommodation, and activities. Additionally, it's a good idea to check for any travel restrictions or requirements, such as a valid passport or travel visa, before booking your trip.
