Can I apply for an OWP inland while on implied status?

I applied for the visitor record in August 2020 and my application is still in process. Meanwhile my common law partner recently got a 2 years closed work permit.
Can I apply for an open Work permit while on implied status???

Is your common law spouse's job NOC 0, A or B? Do you have many forms of proof that you have been living together continuously for a year?

he is NOC B, and yes we have all the proofs.
The fact that I am on implied status is more what's I'm questioning. Or if I must wait for a final decision on my visitor record first.

You should be able to apply on implied status.

Hi @canuck78 im on the same boat. Can i include owp with the pr app? Cause i heard if you are implied status you can apply pr but not owp. I hope you can enlighten us. Thank you so much.
