I proactively did my medicals and it was uploaded to my account the next day.... Counterfoil was updated two days afterwards.... I had sent out answers to the four point questions proactively as well. I didn't wait for them to contact me. I attached all the necessary documents with my response. Including airline tickets that was later cancelled. .. After my counterfoil was updated, I called the IRCC agent and informed the agent that I haven't received an AL... I convinced her to send an urgent email to VO Ottawa for them to send the AL... Had to wait a week plus some days for the AL... Will be flying out to Toronto on Saturday.... I hope I've answered your questions...
How did you proactively did your medical. My medical is expiring on 30th of March as it was extended for 6 months in March. So, doing medical proactively is a good idea. Proactively means that you didn't get the re medical request, but you did. Please advise me on this one

How did you get the 4 pointer email. What did you write in web form that you raised. Please guide
It was more of a seven pointer email rather than four. My VO is in London, UK and my visa expired back in April 2019.

I raised multiple web forms and wrote a couple of emails to IRCC. In September, I got a re-med request, but for some unknown reason, IRCC asked me to contact them after two months . However, even after two months, I heard nothing from them. So, I sent them an email asking about the status. It was finally in January 2021 that I heard back from them.

Honestly, the waiting period has been very long and hard. I hope the same ends soon, not only for me but for everyone else as well.

AL is essential when we are travelling with expired COPR and PRV. Also, can you explain a bit about your case!
Received copr on 21st of December 2020 which is valid till 30th March as my extended medical is expiring on the same date. So my copr is still valid till March 30.

proactively means that i didn't get the medical request. i just went to the same hospital i did the initial one. they had my previous records so that was not an issue.. I also responded to the four points questions with the attached required documents proactively..I'm currently in Toronto, Canada quarantining . Thank God that I didn't have to pay the mandatory $2000 or the mandatory test. However, I did the volutary test upon arrival and my result came out negative. I would advise that you use the same device you registered for the ArriveCan app to travel to Canada because the immigration official will ask you to sign in there.
