Hi All, I am with below status from last 3 months, called this morning and no change in status. Is anyone with same status from past few months and no update yet? AOR: July 8th, VO-Ottawa, # of applicants: 3, NOC code- 2174, CEC inland.

Eligibility: Recommended passed on November 1st
Security: not started
Criminality : in progress
Medical: passed on Aug 27, 2020
Info Sharing: In progress

I have the same situation, eligibility recommend pass on November 5th and no updates after that

Seems those of us with July 8, 2020 AOR all have the same status. My eligibility was recommended passed on November 6, 2020 and no updates after that.

We likely will all receive COPR around the same time. Given how close the dates our eligibility was recommended passed.

Hello, I did my medical on may 18,2020. My aor is july 07,2020. And my medical was passed on august 25. And the asked me to a another one on feb 01,2021.

in my case i did upfront july 31 , 2019. meds passed M1 S1 aug 21, 2020, then Jan 22, 2021 they asked for re-meds.
Did my remeds Jan 29, 2021. so waiting for it to be passed again. everythings passed as per agent- this is the last step i need.

I think the old one is still valid for another 3.5 months, did you check with IRCC why they need re-medical? are you inland applicant?

Some people just get an extension. Others are asked to redo. It varies from app to app, I assume depending on factors like when your meds expire, when your passport expires, your health, when they expect to finalize your app, etc. There's an entire IRCC medical department dedicated to that decision. Since there aren't patterns, we all just have to wait and see what they decide for each of our circumstances.

I see your based in Vancouver based on prior posts. Can you confirm of you received the COPR from the Vancouver VO, which seems to be issuing a lot of COPR's?

That means COPR can either come from Ottawa or your local VO.Nice to know,I assumed it was always issued by the Local VO office.

As mentioned in my last post, background check has been "in progress" for a couple of months now. My WP is expiring only in 2022. Do you guys reckon that's why the application is moving too slow (since my status is not expiring anytime soon)?
