As mentioned in my last post, background check has been "in progress" for a couple of months now. My WP is expiring only in 2022. Do you guys reckon that's why the application is moving too slow (since my status is not expiring anytime soon)?
One of my friend aor was mar 2020. For him everything passed and awaiting final decision as on nov first week. His wp was supposed to expire in 2021 Jan. When he called in November , he was told his wp is expiring in another 3 months and he was advised to apply for extension when his all things were cleared and waiting for a decision on PR. In short, I don’t think they are interreleated

I was looking over the notes and under “Assessments” there is this so called “recalculation date 2021/03/01”
Does anybody know what would that mean ?

Read point # 7: why re-medical is asked; don't count on me, I was just exploring to see if every one of us will be asked for re-medicals, and should we do this upfront to avoid further delay as the review process takes approx 2 months after medical is submitted to IRCC health check panel.

Check this site for the meaning of codes: such as M1 (Medical), S1 (Surveillance), etc. (you can find your code in the GCMS report)

Received GCMS note on 01-Feb-2021, the request was raised on Dec 02, 2020. The information mentioned in the GCMS note is as of 04-Dec-2020

1) It indicates: 2020/11/09 22:51:34 hrs: Analyst recommendation: Recommend Pass A11.2: Appears Met, R87.1: CEC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears Met Ready to Finalize RPRF: Complete
2) Criminality: Status showing In-Progress as of 2020/08/31 (Before Biometrics, after Biomet given on 26-Oct, status updated RECEIVED - NRT).
Info sharing status = Complete, RCMP, PCC all status = NRT (No reportable Trace)
3) Cost Recovery: Complete
4) Medical pass: M1, S1, valid till 2021/05/26
5) Biometrics Complete" Info: received - NRT
6) EE Eligibility: Assessment1 Status: Passed - Candidate.
7) Application Assignment to RC-XXXX, Due Date: 2020/12/24

I received Ghost updates on Dec 05, 2020, and Jan-14, 2021 indicating your profile is updated but couldn't see any change in status, and so the Call center agent also mentioned. I believe some movement happened, and the call center agent just saw the summary and answered the query to close the call not explored in detail to share status.,

@legalfalcon - help me, is there any concern that I should worry about? eagerly waiting for the final decision as many plans on hold due to this one decision.

Excellent. Hopefully you are very close to PPR.
Appreciate it! I would be very surprised though, since when I called a few days ago my security check hadn't even started yet. I will keep everyone updated as usual.

Security can start and end within a matter of a few days for many applicants. I've seen a few posts recently here with the same story - security not started when they called, and everything passed when they checked after 2-3 weeks. So good luck.

There seems to be no concerns and your eligibility is recommended passed by an analyst and now it will be reviewed by an officer who will make a final determination and your eligibly will be conclusively passed.

See my previous post at #4,004

As regards NRT, that is No reportable trace, i.e. no record was found.
