I have the same... that was in end of December when I recieved it. I might get another set of GCSM notes mid feb.Got GCMS notes.
Last update was 12th March.
On jan 21st I got an emal stating your apolication has been forwaded to lond9n visa office@canadan_ and @Naila Haris which vo has your file?
GCMS seems to suggest it was sent to London but didn’t receive any notification of it.@canadan_ and @Naila Haris which vo has your file?
Our rep just sent us notification that it was sent to London on 21st January. My theory is that when we applied for GCMS notes (which was Jan 4th) someone had to take action on the file to forward them to us, realised that our application hadn’t been touched for 10 months and hence the sudden movement to local VO.GCMS seems to suggest it was sent to London but didn’t receive any notification of it.
It can't entirely be ruled out, of course, but by most accounts the gcms notes is compiled by different teams just accessing the electronic filing system. So it's more likely it was just a coincidence. Our rep just sent us notification that it was sent to London on 21st January. You’re probably right, just seemed weird that nothing happened for 10 months and then right after we request notes suddenly transferred! I think you’re right and likely it wasn’t human intervention but either way maybe we’ll see some progress now.It can't entirely be ruled out, of course, but by most accounts the gcms notes is compiled by different teams just accessing the electronic filing system. (On the other hand it's nice to think there are humans involved who would notice so things, so if you prefer to think that, by all means)
Requesting the Gcms Notes does not affect the application process or the outcome in anyway. It's mere coincidence what you experienced, and any IRCC related activity would have happened whether the Gcms Notes were requested or not. You’re probably right, just seemed weird that nothing happened for 10 months and then right after we request notes suddenly transferred! Probably going to order notes again in a few weeks to check that things do appear to be moving forward.
