Guys, how do you talk to agent? I always receive a message that they can't take any call as they have reduced their staff and they hang up. I have to update my address as well and tried to do it online and could not.

Call them at 8am EST and dial extension 3410 when you are asked to choose the option that applies to you and you will get connected easily.

As per my understanding - This is the stage wherein the LVO opens the file to check your entire application and confirm the notes and insights say "BG IP(2) - Background Check in Progress for the second time ".

And the next stage is PPR - Passport Request email - Ready for Visa ***The Golden Email***

If you have served in the military, then your entire record of your military service has to be disclosed to ensure that your immigration is not contrary to the interests of Canada. This depends on where military service is mandatory in your country or option, the branch of military you were in, the training you received, were you a part of any branch of military that was accused or charged of genocide / war crimes or human rights violations.

The military service is vetted to make sure whether your are admissible for criminality, HRV, security.

I called CIC today. The agent said that only criminality is in progress. Is it common? I thought Criminality should be analyzed before security check. Is there anyone in same situation?

I called IRCC two days ago, the agent was super nice. They said everything in my file showed as passed, just waiting for final stamp now. However, on my portal the last update is from Aug 18 (medicals passed). Is that normal?

I submitted my application package on June 21st.

I submitted my application package on June 21st.

That's normal. It will only update when your case is finalized.

Ordered GCMS Notes in December, received them today. No Change at all. Not even one single update, comparing with the GCMS notes received in November 2020.

It is Not Express Entry anymore. It is the new Slow Entry System.

I did submit more documents via web forum and the review was for that reason. However, as per the GCMS files, the last time that they check my application was 28 September 2020. So that will make it 4 months of no progress till this moment.
