Ambiguity in current country of residence on form IMM 0008

Hello y'all,

I am sponsoring my wife who is a permanent resident of Spain and intending to live in Spain till she receives a PR from Canada. But, as I am trying to submit her application, she had to travel to India suddenly where she has a citizenship. Now, on IMM 0008, Question 10., what should be the country of residence? India or Spain? She will come back to India after a month and she doesn't even have a permanent address in India. Would appreciate any help on this!

If only a trip to India of a month, that's not her country of residence.

Thanks for the reply. I will be adding this India trip on her Travel History and Address History so just wondering if writing a letter of explanation would make my application safer?
