Can I go and book an appointment without a medical letter? because ECAS and gckey is showing they are waiting for my medical request. I've messaged them about this through webform and email, my sponsor is trying to call them but he is not yet successful.

Do i need to print and take the letter with me before performing medical?

It depends on the hospital I think. Some hospitals don't ask any information while booking the appointment. However, I will suggest you to wait for the medical request letter. Yes you need to print the letter before going for medical test.

It was completed in less than hour. Completed today. We have to wait for few days now for it to be passed on Gckey

What exactly is AOR2? My file was moved to Ottawa on January 7 and have not received any communication since then. Does AOR2 mean the date when the Ottawa office received the application?

Some offices send an acknowledgement when they receive. Not necessarily receive but when they register it.

Not all do though and I don't think Ottawa is doing so.

I’m an august applicant
I haven’t received Aor 1 or any update from the embassy
My package was received by them on august 28th
Is there any possibility that visa can be issued till april or may this year ?

They received yours you said August 28th? Aor for me was roughly 5.5 months. I have seen a few cases get ppr in 6-7 months. But if you get yours completed by August you should be happy. To answer your question and its just a guess, Im not going to pretend I know this or know that. I dont think it will be finished by April or May. I hope I am wrong and you get it asap. Goodluck!
