Interesting. So anyone who is outside of Canada right now is SOL.
Yep, only applies to inland as on today.

Those who are stuck overseas coz of family emergency or circumstances beyond their control should also get relaxation imho.

Good morning for the good news!

I have a question here,
here it said about the fees we should pay: "fee to restore your status in Canada if your temporary resident status has expired more than 90 days ago "

So if my permit has expired less than a 90 days ago I shouldn't pay the 200 CAD restoration fees. but when I go to the application and ask the questions and enter that my permit has expired on Dec 13th, 2020, it asked me to pay the 200 fees!

So am I doing anything wrong here?

I remember reading that fees would be refunded during application processing (in the payment section)

I think they meant the open work permit fees to be refunded not the restoration fees, I'm not sure!
For this application, you’ll need to pay the

Hey guys,

My PGWP expires in September this year and I hold an ITA to apply for PR.

1) Can I apply for PGWP extension while having active ITA in the pool or even after applying for PR itself?

2) Can I apply for BOWP and PGWP extension at the same time?

1 - i dont see why not
2 - start thinking of this question in May-June. in my opinion, this extension is better since its guaranteed 1.5 years, BOWP is usually for a year only.. I may b wrong
