Hi everyone, I recently got correspondence on my student permit application and was refused on the bases of MY PURPOSE OF VISIT only....Even though I have a valid admission offer from UQTR. Due to delay in obtaining my CAQ, I applied for the permit on the 10th of Dec but the deadline for inscription at my school was 17th January. I got the response on the 15th of January and I would like to reapply for sept. Any help on what I should do for a favorable reply or why I was refused the SP with just one reason?

I suggest you first order the GCMS notes before reapplying. Purpose of visit can mean anything
From which Country did you apply and which Programme?

I got the admission offer from UQTR around July of last year for January intake 2021....I immediately applied for the CAQ but didn't get reply till like late November and the registration deadline for my intake was 17th January. I did however manage to apply for the SP on the 10th of December and got the refusal on the 15th of this monthWhat is your timeline?
Purpose of visit could mean so many things. The refusal letters are just useless. They dont put all the details there. You have to again spend money and get gcms which again takes 30 days. Everything is so time consuming in this study permit process.yeah....just purpose of visit
