I got accepted through less complex file review without hearing and got my decision through mail yesterday. This means IRB is working on your case even during pandemic times. Be patient and you will hopefully receive the good news soon. Good luck!
Hi. Are you single or you have child who is minor. Did you receive any letter for child?

Hello.
My friend also got a letter in Nov 2020 to submit her supporting document under expedited program. Now after 3month she got another letter regarding her child to inform refugee board if she is his representative or nor. Any one know why she got that? Is it for appointing an hearing for her?
When did they receive the letter.

I was considered under the file review process and did hear back from RPD. Here's my timeline:

September 2020
: Got a letter that I was considered for file review and to submit documents by 15 October 2020.
5 October 2020: Submitted all documents to RPD
November 5: Claim accepted without hearing

Be patient you will surely hear from them soon. All the best

A minor needs someone to represent their own interests. Most parents will represent their own children.

I received a letter saying that I was considered as less complex case in November 2020. I submitted all documents and the certificate of readiness. But now I receive a mail saying they no longer process my case under less complex. I must attend a regular hearing. What does this mean? Thanks.

Can you share your timeline? When you made your claim and the after process?

Exactly what it says. Your case will be processed as a regular application and it will take longer.

I came in Canada through American Canada border in April 2019. Within 15 days, I had to submit my medical and claim documents. After that, I've heard from them in earlier October 2020 stating that my claim is selected for less complex claims
