i checked with my lawyer. it takes up to 5 weeks from the date they receive the passports.. so 5 weeks from 30/12/2020.. @Moh47 did yours arrive with ours?

basically they should notify us and collect it in person... it seems that they send passports from here twice or once per month.. not fair, but anyway it's almost done. as said, it seems that we should receive it back during the 1st week of Feb.. (hopefully).. @ moh.. what is your status? where r u going? single? family? have a relative in canada? your nationality? do you know anyone applying from here as well? i will create a private chat. let me know to add them

It is not allowed in Jordan to collect passports in person, they deliver it by courier.

We passed our medicals on Dec 10th 2020 and we haven't heard back from the Amman office. Can anyone tell me what the wait time is after the medicals are received?

Well you have to wait till the officers decides what to do or want it to make a decision on ur file.all applications different

I'm hoping that once they ask for medicals the decision is already made pretty much.

It would be just devastating if they gave us a hard time after this point.

You just have to wait till the officer makes a decision.hopefully everything will be fine

Timline is different for all applications, anyway In my case they send ppr after 3 months of medical,
Hopefully you get it sooner.
