Hi guys...anyone from nation where biometric appointments for PR has not started ? Do we have to raise a webform for it as it is stated that if we do not provide biometric within 90 days then our application will be rejected...in my country biometric appointments for PR has not been started yet? Please help

Honestly speaking I am devastated to leave Australia. The 4 years spent there I had great time. The weather, the countryside, the beaches, friends, people, I was loving everything there. Just couldn’t manage to get PR.
I don’t know what lies ahead but I’m just grateful Canada is still open to Outland people like me, who frankly speaking, have no ties to this country.

It must be hard not to have recourse to remain permanently and have to leave after establishing yourself there. I remember talking to a French girl who was in the states and having to leave in similar circumstances, it's hard when you get attached to a particular country. She also moved to Canada.
I'm in the opposite situation, it feels hard to leave home to go to Canada, you just start feeling comfortable, and then having to uproot your life to start somewhere else new feels daunting. But i know in the long run it's for the best, God willing.
I think most people will like Canada a lot, yes the winters are a challenge initially but you get used to them.
I think 474 is pretty safe if there is no new change in the CRS system (e.g. they can start all program draws but increase CEC points at the same time).
But it eventually is down to your own risk-aversion, and you can also think about whether learning French is beneficial in other ways (helping you get jobs etc.).
Start learning French, never wait for miracle. Prepare for the worst. What if there will be no draws until March/April/May?
474 is a great score. If your birthday is still far away, you are good. But if u can still learn French, it’s an added advantage for u in the future.
Exactly. What if IRCC starts to invite only 4000 people per draw again? Will 474 be enough? Can anyone here guarantee that 4,000 invitations will not come back? What if IRCC establishes a +50 bonus for CECs? Will 480 be enough?
Never take any score for granted (unless of course you're above 490-500, haha). Don't rest until the day your ITA arrives.
Hello everyone! One question: for all documents that are not in English, we must submit translation. I got my translation done by ATIO certified translator. She sent me package which includes the following: statement from translator, English translation and black&white copy of original (all of these has her ATIO stamp and signature). So now question: I need to upload scan of original in colour + ATIO package (including 3 documents as I mentioned before)?
Do I still need to get certified copy of the original as well?

Nothing is ever sure, but scores in the 480s should be fine... there are kind of "shelfs" with points. For single FSW applicants who have never worked or studied in Canada, the max you can get without any "extras" is 481 (perfect IELTS, 29 or younger, masters degree, 3+ years work experience).
Unless they change the rules, I highly highly doubt scores in the 480s won't be sufficient...
But for 474, I think that should be fine but learning french is not a bad idea. You don't need to get all the way to B2 level to get points. Getting to B1 across the board will get you 4 points I think?

Honestly, if anyone that already has a competitive IELTS score is still on the fence about Learning French as an "extra", the latest changes to how French is taken into account in the CRS points system should make it a no brainer. Personally, a B2 in French across the board pushed me to a whopping 518 points, from 468 which is not "safe" nowadays. 518 is a score I would've only dreamed about before said changes took place. This is coming from a candidate with only a year of work experience and sure enough, a great IELTS score and a Master's degree. The peace of mind you get after getting a solid French score is just priceless.
