But I thought AOR is Acknowlegent of Reciept and AIP is Approval in principle
AOR- it just means they received your application and just started processing it. when they send you that letter.

AIP reads something this

*** This letter refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the (the class you guys will be under). It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a Protected Person. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security, and background checks for you and, if applicable, your family members. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements.

Hi

I need help please, I have pending h&c,I started working as PSW this January 2021 and contract is for 12 months ,working 40 hours per week.

My question is ,can I apply in June 2021 for this program(pathway for healthcare workers) because I will have more than 750 hours?or this program is only those worked between March-August 2020.
Thanks

I believe only refugee claimants qualify for this program and you also need to have at least 120 hours of work between March and August of last year. That's how I have understood the rules. Hopefully someone can confirm.

I failed both RPD and RAD ,that's why I applied H&C in November 2020,

Just want to know if I can apply on June 2021 because I'm working as PSW and I will have more than 750 hours,
Thank you for your assistance

For now you may not qualify but just continue doing your psw work the policy may still change in your favor and again it will help your h&c application too make sure you add documents like psw job offer, psw I'd card and psw paystubs to your h&c file

  • demonstrate 6 months of experience in the designated occupation before being granted permanent residence. Applicants will have until August 31, 2021 to acquire this experience.
b} for a minimum of 6 months full-time (30 hours per week) or 750 hours (if working part-time) total experience (obtained no later than August 31, 2021).***

This is only one of the requirements. It means that by August 31, 2021, you must have at least six months of work experience where you have worked 30 or more hours per week OR, if you are working part time, at least 750 hours of work experience by August 31.

The other requirement is that you must have at least 120 hours between March and August of 2020.

You must meet both of these requirements to qualify.

Perfect answer. So at phillipie 13, if you got your 120 hrs between March and August 2020, u av qualified already then you just need to complete your experience and apply

No - you cannot apply. You do not meet the requirements.

As said previously, you must have at least 120 hours of work experience from March to August 2020 (last year).

Since you just started working this year, you do not qualify for this program.
