Hi, I have an odd question and don't know if anybody might know the answer.

I am from Iraq and live there, my PPR email was sent by Paris Visa office. The email is official and all, but I'm just wondering why does Paris VO send it?
CoVID times. Your VISA office might not be operational. Where they have advised to send passports for stamping?

Hi All-
My COPR expired June 2020.I raised couple of RTT webforms and always got generic replies.Today i was able to get through an IRCC agent and all she could tell me was that IRCC will contact you and give the instructions on what to do next.Looks like it is a waiting game now.
Anyone else with similar experience?
Same here. COPR expired on June. No updates till now

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you.

I will be replying to the '10 days' email by tomorrow or day after, and was wondering how you answered this last question "Do you have a plan to quarantine for 14 days in Canada? Important: The Government of Canada cannot not make arrangements for, or pay for, quarantine arrangements."

Did you provide the same details as your initial email (booking.com etc.)? What about your transportation from the airport to the accommodation, medical services, essentials etc.?

Any input will be immensely appreciated!

Thanks and regards.
I re-read all your replies and our conversation. I think basically you characterize the 2 options you have like this:
1) Stay and wait expiration of recently extended medicals: Safe bet. It might take a while but most likely the conditions of you eventually travelling will be much better, less stressful, smooth...
2) Respond saying you want to go now: It might happen the same as with the other person in this thread and they'll ask you to do re-medicals anyway. If you go, you'll have to book a flight in a short notice which will probably inflate the price, also you are never sure that you'll actually embark until you are in the plane, as a number of things could happen, e.g. you get corona and tests positive for it, or the airline company simply cancels the flight and that's it (happened to me twice, although I think things are better now). And if you do not manage to go... well... that's kind of terrifying because according to their wording (that you quoted for me) it is highly not advisable...
It depends entirely on you, your specific situation, your priorities. Basically: are you really in a rush? Is money not a problem to you? If your answer is yes to both questions... you might wanna take option 2...

I do not understand why this question of "Can anybody travel with new Visa stamping and CoPR issued" for CoPR holders approved before Mar 18 2020 keeps popping up again and again!!!!!

IRCC is issuing new CoPRs/VISA to the expired CoPR holders after waiting for almost 8+ long months for what? to keep them in a locker!!!!!

People with New VISA/CoPR does not fall under AL criteria at all!!

To all my fellow applicants with approved CoPRs before Mar 18, who later got new CoPRs and VISA stampings,,,,carry both old ones and the new ones during your travel to Canada,,,,,any sane person would understand by looking at the documents that you are clearly exempted,,,,,,Happy Journey!!!
So people with new visa/ COPR getting for first time can travel?

Out of curiosity, what is the situation for people who receive their COPR soon? Do they just pray that travel restrictions open?
What if they don't?
Hi, can I inbox you?
I am from Iraq also and got ppr recently! Still waiting for COPR though..

Hi all, need some help.
I was asked to redo medicals on 16-Dec by CIC; I completed by meds on 6-Jan.
Now my gc-key account shows : "We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message below for details."

Any ideas?
Thanks
