name issue in legal docs

Hi,


my father in law changed his legal name from mohanlal to mohanbhai in all his legal documents.

BUT he failed to change the name in documents

that includes
- his marraige certificate
- his daughters legal docs like birth cert, passport etc.

how can we prove that he is the same person in all the docs.

please help ,

Do you have a legal name change document? Ie Court or Civil registry extract or decision stating that on such and such a day x changed his name to y.

If so, attaching that with short letter of explanation should be sufficient.
