Hi,

I know that many applicants have received DM and PPR from Ottawa but is there anyone whose file was transferred to Ottawa and still waiting for DM/PPR?
Ours was transferred on 16th November to Ottawa, medicals, biometric everything is in place. AOR2 on December 8th since then it's been dead silent.
Called IRCC and they say it's still in process, call was not of much help
Getting anxious and curious.

I know there are still a lot of applicants waiting for AOR1 and steps after that. Hope everyone receives an update soon. It's tiring and frustrating to wait
Hey mine was sent to Ottawa on nov 25th nd in process from dec 15th and nothing after that

Hi everyone! I was wondering if any of you know if the biometrics and medical requests are sent out close together usually? My husband and I got the biometrics request but not the medical and seeing as we will have to travel quite far to fulfill the requests is it worth it to wait until we get both so we can do them at the same time and save ourselves an extra trip? Thanks for any insight you may have :)
We just got our biometrics request today!!! I'm wondering the same thing now - whether the biometrics and medical request follow closely to one another. We are currently in northern Italy and there's no regional travel allowed due to COVID; the closest place we can get my husband's biometrics done is in Rome... and there are only three places for approved Panel Physicians here (Rome or Milan) so we also have to do some travelling in order to get it done. I think we are just going to go ahead and get the biometrics done ASAP once we're able to travel regionally because we don't want to delay our application review. I don't know if they need to approve the biometrics before moving onto other stages of the application review, such as the medical examination.

Also, I saw your question about updating info on your application - address, contact etc. We also had a change of address and employment... I didn't know how to make an update without an application number, but we finally have that now! How did you go about making your updates? Through the webform?

So many questions, haha :p

They will proceed in parallel and esp now they seem to have 'decoupled' the biometric. Still get it when you can but stay safe to do so (covid wise), it should not seriously impact the progress (as long as not months and months).

Yes, webform.

Haven’t received any AOR YET. Can anyone share the ITV helpline and the keys to press to connect to an agent I have the temporary file number since October but there is no response on it after that

Looks like today was my lucky day! Got BIL! Still no AOR. I'm elated :)
File arrived in Sydney late July.
Still nothing in ECAS
Congratulations. You might get AOR tomorrow. It seems that they are doing everything randomly. I received AOR last week but no BIL till now. Hopefully it will happen soon.

Good news if anyone cares. My spouse's TRV has just been approved today. I'll advise you all give it a try instead of waiting for the long Sponsorship. Our application took 2 months and 2 weeks. So many people discouraged us as they said it will definitely be denied since we have a pending spousal sponsorship. Against all odds, we went ahead anyways as we had nothing to lose. We don't even have AOR1 yet, but she will be joining me next month. I could never have imagined. It still feels like a dream.
