Not really. A lot of PNPs are waiting too. I guess it depends on NOC as well.Awesome, that's so fast! I assume PNP applications are being processed faster than CEC? Have seen a lot of PNP's being approved with short processing times..
I applied for visitor visa for child in November and the process goes very slowly. I expect that decision won't be made before a study permit expires. My children visitor records got approval in 3 months
Sorry for making you repeat. When i select the category as "Temporary Residence Permit", i get the messageOnline
Hello @legalfalcon,You can send a webform and inform IRCC that you may have inadvertently answers the questions incorrectly and let them know of the past visa refusal. As long as you disclose it, there is no issue.
The law on this point is very clear:
All your visa refusals should be declared in your application, not doing so can lead to misrepresentation. As per law you have an obligation to be truthful. Section 16(1) of the IRPA states:
- 16 (1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.
See Tuiran v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2018 FC 324 (CanLII), <http://canlii.ca/t/hr59k
Alalami v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2018 FC 328 (CanLII), <http://canlii.ca/t/hr6r1>
If you inadvertently missed declaring your prior visa refusal in your application, make a correction now. As long as you inform IRCC and are truthful, there should be no issues.
Also, many applicants forget a prior visa refusal and answer the question incorrectly, so no need to be concerned, just declare it and fix it now.
The notes did not get posted...Sadly, no it isn't passed by the officer.

Hi. What you need to do is use a LoE to explain your education/universities attended@legalfalcon @caipsnotes you guys seem pretty knowledgeable around here would you please be able to clarify this question for me?
Sorry if this is not the right place for this query but no one has been able to help on the pre ITA thread. I figured people who have submitted their application could help.
I have a question on how to fill the education section in the express entry profile. I got my bachelors degree which IQAS evaluated as a 4 year degree. But it took me 5.5 years to get it because I transferred and attended 3 different universities.
I studied for 1 year at university A, then 1 year at university B and then finally transferred to university C - where I studied for 3.5 years and obtained my bachelor’s degree. So I spent 5.5 years in total for my university studies. The degree is evaluated as being a 4 year bachelor’s degree awarded by university C. The transferred credit allowed me to complete my degree faster at university C.
I don’t know how to fill the education section. I figured I would only include University C since that’s the one that awarded me my degree and the one for which I’m getting points. When I write the dates for which I attended University C it comes out to 3.5 years. I’m unsure if I should write 3 years or 4 years for the number of complete/full academic years because my transcript shows 7 semesters of University C + 4 semesters of transfer credits from previous universities.
Could someone please help me?
When you file your application the information as on that day has to be valid. For any pending application, you need not worry.Hello @legalfalcon,
I wanted to know where are these statutory questions asked during the express entry application. I had applied for a newzealand visitor visa in February 2020 but the status shows submitted and there is no response yet. I am not sure if they even opened the visitor visa application for processing it due to covid-19. Hence I am not sure what is even to be answered and where these questions are asked.
Thank you.
I'm unable to find even a single person who got PPR recently in India unless they were a PNP candidate or FSW-O residing in US.is anyone from INDIA getting PPR requests ?
Hello Amr I am from Egypt also my AOR is 2nd of september and I need to communicate with you please if it is possible?Hey Guys. ALhamdullah ( Thanks God ) I have gotten my PPR a couple of days ago, and I sent my passport yesterday. Now, with the current travel restrictions in Canada, I would like to know what I'm supposed to do once I get my COPR, and what is the COPR package exactly? My plan it to land in mid of March. Am I supposed to get some kind of permission to travel? How, and from whom?
My time line: PNP outland, Visa office: Cairo, AOR mid of September, Medicals passed and Biometrics done in beginning of November, an ADR for schedule A in mid of November, followed be 2 GUs in the last weeks of November and December.
Good luck for all of you.
I think it depends on biometrics submission. The VACs in India are currently not accepting PR EE Biometrics and due to this many cases are delayed. On the other side, people from India are traveling abroad like Dubai to give their biometrics. Can someone from this category confirm if you received PPR?I'm unable to find even a single person who got PPR recently in India unless they were a PNP candidate or FSW-O residing in US.
Yes, biometric submission is important and increases the chance for delays if not given timely, as it is a part of the background check.I think it depends on biometrics submission.
