Hello all , I received my authorization letter this week . And it contained this paragraph
At this time, we are not printing and mailing new CoPRs or PR visa counterfoils. For your travel to Canada, you will need to:
bring this letter, along with your original CoPR and PR visa .
So if i understand correctly i don't need to send my passport to vsf office to get a visa on my passport right ?
Hey, if you got AL and the new counterfoil has been updated in your GC key account then there is no need for visa re-stamping, you can plan to travel before the the expiry of your AL.

Also, if possible can you please share your VO and GC key account updation details as some of us got the new counterfoil updated in our GC key account and waiting for the AL to come.

Hi
As anyone got below type of reply, cic and agent who i spoke to said london visa office is processing my expired copr request but now london visa sends me the below reply. Im not sure what is happening

Dear Client,

Please note that your webform enquiry has been forwarded to an office in Canada to be processed centrally. IRCC will endeavour to review your application as soon as possible.

While we continue to serve our clients, service disruptions and restrictions due to COVID-19 will have an impact on processing times and we are therefore not able to provide a timeframe for the completion of any assessments at this time.
Any update from London VO regarding your application?

Can anyone help us on this?
Disclaimer: follow my advice at ur own risk..

1. No.. people generally get AL.. but there could be other ways around this as u have a job offer.. look into covid restrictions.. plus if you are in the US or could go to US.. can you try passing thru land border.. no idea if it'd work..

2. No clue.. u could find what's going on in ur file with gcms if you'd like.. i recommend getting notes thru friend or family n not through third party websites..

Best of luck
Keep us posted

@13nitinsharma Hey, I need some help with something. I haven't received my AL yet although my COPR is updated on my profile with extension till feb end. My travel agent suggests i carry a Hard copy of updated COPR(which i suppose we cant since it required me to send my passport to the office and receive those documents with them). So if anyone has traveled through Airindia and successfully landed in Toronto. Please help me out what documents i need to carry??
Hi. I have applied for the extension too but awaiting response. In the meantime I have doubt if I need to retake the medical without IRCC informing? Any help is appreciated.

Hey Guys.
As I had mentioned on the forum before got a remedical request on 21st dec without even raising RTT. My COPR expired on 6th Aug, however I wasnt planning to travel anytime soon with my kid am waiting for vaccination or atleast things to return to some level of normalcy. So I decided I will do my medical some time early March (as late as possible). However, Yesterday (10th Jan) I got the 4 point email asking if I can travel in next 60 days with the same 4 questions that many of us got.

Now I wanted to check:
If I do not want to travel in the next 60 days - the mail says "If we do not hear from you within 10 days, we will assume that you are not able to travel to Canada within the next 60 days. Your application will remain open and placed on hold until after the travel restriction pause is lifted or until you demonstrate that you meet the criteria above."
1. has anyone before responded by saying No to the 4 point email.
2.If yes di you receive any acknowledgement for the same.

Hi
I have been a silent observer this forum has been really helpful. I needed some guidance from the amazing people here. My wife and I received COPR on 18th Mar 2020 with an expiry date of 1st Sep 2020. However, like most of us we couldn't travel. My GC account was updated on 9th Nov 2020 stating 'Medicals passed' and I received the 4/7 pointer mail on 18th Dec to which we replied the same day. We have not got any update post that. We have raised multiple webforms and fortunately I have a job offer with joining date as 18th Jan. Q1 - Does it mean that our medicals were extended? Q2 - Any suggestions on how can we expedite this? Our VO is Sydney, Nova Scotia
Your original medicals might have extended for like 6 months to move your application along. IMO, when IRCC is gonna process your file based on your response of 4/7 pointer email they gonna evaluate your file whether you require remeds or not. In my case I responded to 4 pointer email and after 2 months they asked for remeds. So it's upto them when they are gonna process your application.

For job offer, try to convince your employer to give you a later joining date or if you can work remotely for them. Meanwhile raise a webform or reply to the same 4/7 pointer email as a followup and attach your job offer to it. Avoid sending multiple followup emails. Only one should be enough.

Good luck!
