yes - agreed! if we are asked for re-take medical tests, we will have to pay the similar amount for that!We are in same boat. AOR 13 JAN , medical expiry is 29 JAN. Exact same status for me and my family. On one hand they are not processing applications efficiently leading to BIG delays in the processing time , and now they are asking for re-medicals ? Its ridiculous !!
Why should one pay $1000+ for re-medicals for their mistake ?
Congrats ! Hope the borders open before that dateApplication approved! Counterfoil generated and passport dispatched by IRCC. COPR valid till 30 May 2021
Thanks! It is because my medicals were extended for 6 months before I got the PPR on 8th December.Congrats! any idea why valid only till 30 May2021? is there possibility to ask for extension?
Thanks! That's what I hope as well. At least some exemption for COPR holders should come in before thatCongrats ! Hope the borders open before that date
Yup. Same here. 10th January was my AOR, seems like my background check is in progress. Have ordered CBSA notes though.Anyone left for PPR - AOR January 2020?

We are going to hit the 12 month period soon.

Also, are they sending re-medical requests for everyone now? Are you getting the request before PPR or after PPR email? My AOR is Jan 9, 2020. I got PPR in Oct and sent my passports on oct 27, 2020. Till now they haven’t sent my passports back and there is no update on my medicals. I have been raising web forms but got no replies for any of them. Not sure what to do. I really need my and my dependents’ passports back. Is anyone in the same situation? What did you do?
I am not in the same situation, but did you try to call? You can use different apps depending on where you live to obtain a Canadian number and call to ask for information. My AOR is Jan 9, 2020. I tried calling them. But they are hanging up when we select immigration related option. I tried leaving a message on some other option which doesn’t apply to us. But still no response. I’m lost as to what to do.I am not in the same situation, but did you try to call? You can use different apps depending on where you live to obtain a Canadian number and call to ask for information.
Where did you send the passports to? If you are sending to a VFS center, then VFS is the place to chase. My AOR is Jan 9, 2020. I got PPR in Oct and sent my passports on oct 27, 2020. I do not know why they are hanging up on you, but you may have to select a different option. Here is what I used in the past to get to talk with a real person:I tried calling them. Oh, thank you! I called to their international number. I have a US phone number and not Canada number. Maybe I have to get a virtual Canada number then.I do not know why they are hanging up on you, but you may have to select a different option. Here is what I used in the past to get to talk with a real person:
IRCC phone number: +1 888-242-2100
1-1-2-2-(9-digit application number)#-1-(4-digit year of birth)-1-1-0
I do not know if this is still accurate, as I call the last time more than a month ago.
Hope it helps.
