Hi,
Can some one please help on the translation requirement. Is it okey to get the certified true copy like the below scenarios:
Scenario 1:
1) Translate document from certified translator
2)Translated copy includes photocopy of document with translator seal, translat
ed version and affidavit.
3) Take the document photocopy with translator seal to notary public and get certified true copy on it. ( first translate and then get true copy)

scenario 2:
1) Translate document from certified translator
2)Translated copy includes photocopy of document with translator seal, translat
ed version and affidavit.
3)eave tge translated cooy as it and take another document photocopy to notary public and get certified true copy on it. (translated copy and the true copy are independent)

Thanks
Ask a notary in the relevant country.

Hello all,

We submitted our spousal "outland" application in the last week of August 2020 and have been anxiously waiting for any communication, but nothing yet. Just wanted to check if anyone who applied around same time has received any communication or AOR?

Thanks! Appreciate your help and your time!

Hello jn, I also submitted outland application in late August. Still waiting and waiting. Some users of this forum (with August applications) have received AOR.

There is a Google Sheet (spreadsheet) provided by the sponsors of this forum to track applications and their status, for all months of 2020 (other sheets for previous years), both inland and outland. I've not found an "official" forum post about this Google Sheet but there are a number of posts that refer to it (I provided some reference myself recently, I'll have to look that up). The Google Sheet is at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LxDFjvZn-XR9uZpGbPTORYKQf0BMquSXNw0RvmqvZNU/edit#gid=2079961909.

Checking that sheet now for outland August, there are 73 persons listed (this is a small portion of the forum users, and the forum users are a small portion of all applicants). The number of AOR is 14 with latest being December 16 (the earliest being November 3).

edit to add: here's a link to some discussion about the Google Sheet https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/august-2020-outland-spousal-sponsorship.697959/page-15#post-9014988
