Hi All,

Has any married individual here submitted a PCC Application (BLS Brampton) without your spouse's name on the Passport? If so, did your application get approved with just the marriage certificate, or, did you have to apply for a new passport (to add your spouse's name), and resubmit the PCC application?

Many thanks!
NK
My brother did it a few months ago. It was accepted (BLS Edmonton). He applied with old passport without the name of spouse on it. Only supporting document they asked was marriage certificate.

Since you have done this process successfully, an you answer my questions below please?

1. Do I have to include a return envelope or just put all the documents in an envelope, stick the label on it?
2. do I have to paste the photo on the application using glue or can I staple it to the application?
3. Do I have to sign the application in two places - one below photo (has a square but doesnt say sign), and the other at the end of the application?
4. What else needs to be signed? Checklist? Also for checklist do I have to "check" everything as well as in tick with pen or just sign?
Hi
I actually submitted my application via Walk-In in Calgary. They verified all the documents and didn't even take the checklist saying this is not required for PCC.
I glued my photo.
Yes i sign at two places and also all the documents which were submitted

Many thanks for the note, @anisha1992. It seems each consulate has a different interpretation. Based on what I've read on here - applicants to the CGI Toronto have had their applications rejected.

@anisha1992 Did your brother get the marriage certificate certified/attested by the Ministry of External Affairs? My spouse and I had our certificate issued here in Canada, and, I'm not sure if it needs attestation/certification of any kind

You mean a ID with Indian address for both me and my spouse?
Make sure you use different envelope
if you have your spouse name on the passport then no need any extra docs
if you don't have then add ID of your spose which has Indian add and marriage certificate

for me I don't have spouse name on my passport so I've added ID (her passport) and marriage certificate

Many thanks for the note, @LuXar. Considering that I'm applying for myself, I will just use one envelope

My spouse is a US national of Indian origin. As such, there's no ID that she has that will bear an Indian address. I'm wondering if a US issued ID should suffice?

Okay then just add Marriage Certificate as you only need PCC for yourself.

My Indian PCC application was delivered to BLS Brampton this morning. Hoping to start checking the status after a few days. I think I need to build patience for another 4-6 weeks. Let us see.

Hello Everyone!
I am filling the application for PCC but in the checklist it mentions "Personal Particular Forms", which is a different format, do we have to fill that one as well?
Also, they are asking me for the Address when I lived in India 12 years ago for 9 months, along with Police Station. I have no idea what to say about police station, I never knew anything about it... what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
