Exactly! There are many ppl like you.Dont worry.. Anyways many of those who recd 3,4 or 7 ptrs haven't been able to get AL still after 2 months .So those mails didn't actually do any good.Infact they were a way to stretch things further.

Hi...I am in the same situation. Is there any travel restrictions in our case. Please replyHi Guys,
I received AL a week ago and will be traveling soon. Wanted to thank all of you for sharing the information which helped me out in the process especially @whyCorona @crackMBA and other members as well. For those, who are waiting to board the plane, be patient you will be in Canada soon InşaAllah.
FYI, my COPR was approved b4 18th March. I raised the first web form in Nov and then another after 8 days. Then I raised a third in early December. Got an email asking for info such as plan, proof of funds, etc, and in a week or two got the AL.
Thank you all again and stay strong we will all make it to Canada.
ThanksI will request my agent to check this as I currently dont have access to my account..
Not sure if someone answered but u can apply for family reunification.. go thru the rules.. that would be fastest way to get alIf you don't mind sharing what is required to get an AL to land in Canada? My COPR is valid until May 30, 2021. My wife lives in Canada on a work permit. I do not have a visitor visa. Until I land , her PR does not get activated either.
Please and Thank you.
Congratulations... Happy for you, @aik8* ! All the best!Hi Guys,

Travel restrictions are reviewed on the 21st of each month. Especially, US-Canada border restrictions. Why January 21st? is it mentioned somewhere that the regulations may change starting from January 21st?
Test must be taken 72 hrs before you board your first flight. Doesn't matter if your flight to Canada takes 5 days. Can any1 please explain regarding the PCR test, it states that it has to be done/valid for 72 hours before travel. I want to ask should it be 72 hours from the flight that will take off for Canada or the first flight for the travel itinerary. I'm flying from Muscat to Doha and then Doha to Montreal and then Calgary.
Thanks
Yes that's one reason as well..But even if the borders were open in December i would have not been able to travel.Hence i requested for an extension, but received a generic response to raise a web form when ready to travel..It's all confusing now as i read in a previous thread that we should not raise any web form if we already did prir to 23rd December.Hi, i believe the reason also is the canada travel restrictions, correct? because our COPR is issued after March 18...same boat
Just wait for instructions from IRCC. If you have a reason to travel e.g. a job offer, family reunification or something then raise a webform. Yes, after 23rd Dec 2020 they have changed the rule for ready to travel webform. Now they are gonna contact the CoPR holders for their readiness to travel.Yes that's one reason as well..But even if the borders were open in December i would have not been able to travel.Hence i requested for an extension, but received a generic response to raise a web form when ready to travel..It's all confusing now as i read in a previous thread that we should not raise any web form if we already did prir to 23rd December.
Any suggestions on what to do after my COPR expires on 20 Jan?
Thank you so much for the response. I will keep the group updated if i do receive any update.Just wait for instructions from IRCC. Regarding webforms you will receive generic responses as they are handled by IRCC agents and not by the review officer. When your application is accessed then you will start noticing the movement regarding your CoPR extension.

I got the following email on December 24 from Ottawa VO (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca)
