No you just have to let them know that they gonna ask you for divorce paper or legal separation letter

If you have 100 questions I don`t mind answering them :)
I was not allowed to work when I applied for WP/TRP, so was working on cash part time till I got WP. Never filled tax also
But once I got the WP/TRP I applied for SIN and got Alberta health care also, I might be lucky my wife got health care also same time (while she was still on visitor status)
Applied for CCB paper based also but still waiting for that, I cannot apply for that online because I never filled tax(so I was not eligible to apply online)
Hello @AAK2018.
Can you give me please an idea of what we should put in a TRP/work permit file?
Is it necessary to write an explanatory letter, and mention information, for example, regarding the labor market in the home country or proof of integration in Canada, or add photos, certificates, etc....?
also, do you know other cases that got approval in TRP applications? Or do you have an idea about the application processing time? (I know that in youre case you got the answer after a year and seven months one month before AIP)

Hello everyone.
I am eligible for the new program known as the
"Pathway for healthcare workers"

I am the only one here in Canada for now while wife and 2 kids are in my home country.

Does my wife need to fill the background and additional family form despite not in the country at the moment?
The form states if they are accompanying me or not, spouse or common-law partner need to fill and sign it.Same for my kids are above 18 years of age. They need to fill separately.
I have spoken to some Laywers, some said no while some said yes.Though this program is novel, but some questions in it are a bit tricky.

To those of you who have pass through H & C with similar family situation, what did you do?
I am considering sending my wife a copy of the family and background forms for her to sign and date. She will mail it back to me here. This can be expensive and take about a week or more.
Why dont u send here a soft copy of the form so that she could make a print out, sign and acan it back to 300pdi and send it via email? It will save you money and time

And he got this response saying : We sent you a correspondence on December 24th 2020. If you have not provided the information or required documents please so so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information that is required. Please does any one have an idea what this means because he is very worried thanks.

When we received this mail it was only about passport copies and other papers. IRCC will ask him to send few documents but I don't understand why to worry?
The MSG was clear about providing them with information.
I know it's stressful but really it's clear.
My case is not sponsorship anyway but this is what it's usually about.
Good luck

Hello everyone,
I became PR since November 2020 and applied by mail for Child Benefit on December. My question is since on the web page says that it takes until 11 weeks to process a paper application that mean that I probably get an answer around March. At that time they will pay me back since November that I became PR or since the day they will approve my CCB application?

Hi everyone!

I am an on-and-off lurker on this forum/ thread and I also did an H&C. I just wanted to stop by for a quick hello. At times this process felt so overwhelming and lonely (especially since I knew no one else who went through this), just being able to read through other people's experiences and even getting tips for certain milestones was helpful and comforting. Though, at times reading about how long the process was did cause me a great despair (gotta stay honest)

So as a hello and thank you to the community, for anyone else waiting to hear back, I thought I would share my timeline. Please keep hope! And listen, the H&C takes forever and an eternity-- hobbies, volunteering and other occupations are a must!

Anyways, I got PR at end of November 2020.

Here is the timeline.
APPLICATION SENT - January 2019
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT - My lawyers took care of the application so they didn't mention this to me. But I think it was JAN 2019 as well.
APPROVED IN PRINCIPAL- Mid-September 2020.
STAGE 2 REQUESTS- end September 2020.
SENT IN DOCUMENTATION FOR STAGE 2 Requests - October 2020.
COPR - November 2020.

Reasons for the application were Establishment in Canada and Hardship in Home Country. I was the sole applicant. I did not have any refugee claim prior-- this was my first application for PR.

So yeah. I hope that helps! I don't think too many applicants from 2019 are left (I could be wrong). But I'll just throw this out there for anyone who could use some hope.

Personally I really appreciate your participation sending those nice words and yes hope is what we need.
Congrats on your PR.
I understand what you meant by reading someone else's experience because sometimes you feel lonely and so on...well, aren't we all!
I appreciate this forum so much.
Good luck to everyone here and congrats again AnonyKaty
