That is your temporary application number. You will get another one that should start with an X when you get temp aor. If you've already paid biometrics fee then just disregard the reminder!
Do they send back the documents if got the Biometrics Fee email?

My lawyer sent my spousal sponsorship application November 12th. Lawyer advised not to do a Biometrics since I did it at the Canadian border early 2019 when I applied for a post graduate work permit. Biometrics are valid for 10yrs. I hope for a speedy application as a result of this Pandemic. Let the waiting game begins. Good luck fellow November applicants.

I am originally march applicant, due to missing signature beside electronic signature on IMM 5669 my application was returned in October i.e after 7 months they returned my application even after I received temp AOR. They returned via "Canada post".
Did you get your biometrics fee email for your march application?

Hi guys,
Can anyone help me with a question?

I applied via paper for PR and today I received an email with a number that starts with the letter Fxxxxxxx.

The pdf that came in the email was talking about the payment of the biometrics fee which I had already paid along with the processing fee and PR Card. So I tried to link this number on my profile on the CIC website but I can't. It appears as if it had no application. I don't know if it is because the email I received today at 7:10 am from Vancouver and has not yet processed in the system or I am putting it wrong. Does this number refer to the application number or the unique client number?
If anyone can help I am grateful.

I apply for family class.

Happy New Year!!!!!

This file number is a temporary one and you will probably get your official file number in a few months (it's long!).
It will be unlikely for you to be able to see your application online for another couple of months. If you see the spreadsheet linked at the beginning of the thread, you can see that nobody can link the application for November or even August-October. It's normal and we all just have to wait.
If you've already paid the biometrics fee, you can simply ignore the email. It's sort of an automatic email they seem to send to (almost) everyone.
I hope that clears some things up! Happy new year!

I've sent my application + OWP for my partner in early November and they received it that same week. We've yet to get any notification in regards to biometrics. Do you think this is normal? I saw that everyone on the spreadsheet had received theirs already..

As well, My partner's visitor visa is now expired but we have applied for OWP and I assume he has implied status but I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat.

Hi guys,
I sent my paper application(PGWP EXTENSION+PR-my husband is PR). It was received on 17th NOV, 2020.We haven't heard anything yet no AOR yet. My PGWP expires soon. Can I apply for WP extension that govt just announced 18month extension. Will that be considered as dual submission? My workplace is asking for a proof of submission too and I havent heard anything. Anyone from Nov received any updates recently?

No updates for November yet. Looks like they are doing completeness check for August.

Hi! It looks like I might have missed handwritten signature besides printed name in bg declaration form, I didn't save the physical copy of the form so I am not 100% sure. Is it possible to update the form with handwritten signature using webform? Or would my application be return irrespective?

Can someone please tell me the steps or what documents are needed to extend visitor status. We have submitted inland pr application with owp but spouse visitor status is almost at 6mths and we want to be safe by extending visitor status.
