Hello everyone, I need help. It's really urgent for me. I have sent my passport to Ottawa for visa stamping on 14 December. I have a flight on Jan 3 and I have not received any update regarding my visa. I'm not understanding what to do or whom I should contact. Any help is kindly appreciated.

It looks like you will have to reschedule your flight. Even if your passport has been sent out from IRCC, Canada Post could possibly delay the delivery due to the high volume of posts they got during the holiday season.
The only thing you can do is to wait. Or you can call IRCC, but I don't really think it might help, webform is the same.
Thank you for responding. It's really urgent for me, I have to undergo medical treatment. Is there any possibility of directly contacting the Ottawa office, or in-person appointment or any email.
I am sorry to hear that, but the only way to contact IRCC would be calling them or send them a Webform.

I am also in same situation.
I have medical emergency in India. I have submitted my passport on 15th to Ottawa. 14 calendar days over. I cancelled my flight today, which was scheduled for 31st. Waiting for passport, fingers crossed.
Had called, submitted web form, emailed, tweeted. The fact is even if we are dead, it's of less priority. Because Canada is facing a serious emergency crisis due to covid19. We have to respect that.
Around 200 people are dying in Canada everyday due to this virus. This is definitely more important than processing our visas.
I am sorry that you have to go through this.
But we have no choices left other than waiting.
Let's hope the flights will not be cancelled in January.

I got the same reply last week over phone.
They couldn't guarantee that I can get it in 14 days at the time. I had booked air India. Money is gone! I would be lucky if I can get the refund at least after 6 months.
Did you received it ? You can always track your passport online and get estimate delivery date.
I also need some guidance about traveling. Did you go through covid test for traveling ? If yes then how much it was cost you ?
