I am about to join 100% club

CEC Inland, BC
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
medical: August 17, 2020 You passed
Additional documents Not applicable.
Interview: You do not need an interview.
Biometrics: October 21, 2020 Completed.
Background check: We are processing your background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress.

Never tried to call IRCC before. But I tried to call them yesterday and today on this number 1-888-242-2100 and it said our call center is closed. Of course, I called in work hours (6:30 to 8) local time in BC which is about (9:30 to 11) Toronto.

How much is it probable after this long wait they come back to me that I haven't even passed the eligibility? Is there another number folks call them and they answer?

Please update us on your findings. You're right between the 20-26 gap that I'm looking at... Your eligibility should probably be "Recommended Pass" at this point at least. I'd be interested if it's already on "Met".

I will I just started chasing my status this week and stressed seeing everyone getting approved but I am stuck.

Hi,

I have exact same work permit. You can BOWP on your own, no need for your employer and no you dont have to re apply for LMIA.

I did it 2 weeks ago, approval in 24 hours.

This link was helpful:

Obviously, some differences you need to factor when doing the form (tick LMIA / work permit for existing employer etc).

You applied for BOWP, and got approval in 24 hours?

Where on earth did you apply? It takes over 3 months for most people here.

Just wondering if anyone else is on the same boat:
- AOR: June 9, 2020
- MEP/BIL: July 24, 2020
- Eligibility: Pass
- Security: Pass
- Medical: Pass
- Criminality: In-Progress
- Biometrics provided on Nov 5th, 2020
- Visa Office: Ottawa

My application was on "criminality in-progress" state for over a month and half at this point. I don't have any criminal history (plus the company I currently work did criminal background checks before I joined, and verified that I was clean), so I'm not sure what's taking them so long.

Is anyone else stuck on the criminality in-progress but everything else pass stage?

Hi, I had a confirmation letter my work permit was bridged to April 2021 within 24 hours.

It looked automated, the 'system' must calculate PR timeline and other factors, then gives the bridging letter accordingly.

Just call the agent, and get the following information:
- AOR: June 4, 2020
- MEP/BIL: July 22, 2020
- Eligibility: Pass (at the end of September)
- Security: Pass
- Medical: Pass
- Criminality: In-Progress
- Biometrics provided on Oct 19th, 2020
- Visa Office: Ottawa

I think my file is stuck in the security screening or something. Is there any way I can speed up this whole process?

I am stuck with criminality, a few days earlier than your timeline
I just contacted cic and the agent said their system doesn't even show they received my biometrics :(

Starting to think I won't receive a final decision before the end of the year as we approach the holidays (AOR June 24, CPC Ottawa, eligibility, criminality and security all passed). I was hoping final approval/CoPR would be my Christmas present. :p

I'm on same boat. Criminality chack is in progress for 3 months and I don't have any criminal records in the past... AOR June 16.

Hi @legalfalcon do you know the photo requirements for the PR card? I was thinking on getting them ahead instead of waiting for the CoPR emails since I was told the application was approved and things are going to close again on December 25.
They may ask you to upload soft copy instead of hard copy, so you may like to wait. I am also in same boat, my application was finalized on Nov 17, and still waiting for COPR :(
