You just need to submit photocopies, I submitted my application on Dec 8,2020 and today my status changed to "Police Verification Initiated". Hope this will help you.
My status just changed to this. Guess we are going at the same speed! Hopefully we get this stuff before new years

Just wanted to give a timeline of my PCC Processing:

I applied for PCC at BLS Toronto walk-in on November 20th, 2020 and received the PCC at my home through Purolator on December 7th, 2020. My passport was issued in Toronto in 2019 when I applied for renewal. For address proof, I had taken a copy of my rental agreement. Even though I arrived there at 7:25 AM, the line was so huge that my chance to enter the premises came around 10:30 AM.

I'm happy to help if anyone has any questions or concerns regarding PCC :)

Good luck to future applicants and stay positive always!

Did you provide any address proof for the location where police verification happened? Was it for you or for your relatives?

Provide him the details and pay him the money. Once you pay him everything will be fine. They charge from 2000 to 5000 depending on the area and documents.

The PCC was for me only. I didn't provide any address proof for the location in India. I just provided rental agreement as address proof for the address here in Canada. Hope that helps

Hi - Are they asking for any original documents to be sent via post or is it only the photo copies of the proof to be submitted? Thanks

They will need the original passport to verify the information provided on the form and with the copies but they will return back the original passport after verification. They won't keep any original documents with them. However, it is better to take the original documents there just in case if something is needed.

I believe the walk-in application is closed now due to Lockdown in Toronto which was your case I beleive. I was asking for the postal application since this is the only option now to apply for PCC.
