As far as I'm aware, if you're claiming points you should not change employers at least until you get COPR on hands to be safe

What was your status before you got the pr portal email? LIke was it Eligibility: Passed, Criminality: In progress, Security: Not started? or was it all passed but no approval?

It was all stages passed since mid oct and pending final decision..

Looks like many of those who have All Stages Passed and with Ottawa are getting transferred to local VO Etobicoke if they are Toronto residents...and that's the point of delay due to caseload...VO London etc. I believe are faster..

On bridge work permit, can we still continue to work for same employer?

Did you check if the file had been transferred to any other VO? Or does the file transfer to local VO happen only after final decision is made?

I was told that my VO is CPC Ottawa. Not sure if it's gonna get transferred.

Yes, you can work for the same employer or any other employer once it's approved.
While your BOWP is still in the process of being approved, and you're on an 'implied status' you have to abide by the terms of your initial work permit. If that says you're restricted to one employer or a certain industry/role you can't go out and work elsewhere until the BOWP is approved.

My AOR july 8. called IRCC agent she informed me that Eligibility recommended pass. my question: is this final? or another agent must finalize it? what is the next step? my profile only shows passed medical and no need to give biometrics.. Do I Have to do any further steps? very anxious.. Thank you
