Yes i am inland, i sent my "paper application package" to BRC-SYDENY in late july 2019. Sorry, i was wrong when I said 17 months, it is actually 16 months and in a week i will finish 17 months.
Like everyone else, i received a "Fake AOR" after 15 months. So, could we say that IRCC was not aware of the backlogs at the time when i sent my "paper package"? Or
IRCC took 15 months to figure out what to do with my dusty "envelope"?
For applicants, who sent their "paper application package" after March2020, the content of these "temporary AOR" letters makes sense, but for those who sent it before march(covid19) why would IRCC send these letters??
Mea culpa?
So now that, we all are aware of the problem, i would like to ask IRCC officials a simple question, what is the solution that your departmemt is proposing??
And, i hope that IRCC is not just speculating with that immigration commitee.
I understand, these are frustrating times, but folks are trying their best to negotiate a new policy. And, it will be good for everyone regardless of your personal waiting times. Imagine one day you wakes up and first thing tou find is your "paper application package" returned to you with expired CSQ inside it, what would be your reaction.( I hope that day will never come to anyone, and that is why people are taking time from their busy life to contribute to a QSWP reform as much as they could.
If you have time you can go on facebook and start infiltrating the information, you will find nothing but the "hardship" just to get a damned "Fake AOR" after 15 months.
Have a nice evening friend
