What your doing than...
Why you lose time talking in this group instead do protest as you are a lot...
I apply for PR in October 2020 and got the xep but if thats the case you guys have to move dont stay quit...
Don't get offended for me you can keep sleeping but nobody cares about you.
You have group in Fcb that are doing pétition, interviews just you guys have to make noise if not they will do what they want.
I know that our immigration procces take a long time but 14 and 17 months and to dint have the AOR its not normal...
In the end you can decide my friend to laugh or to fo ask for you rights, YOU CHOOSE.
take care

I'm definitely checking your post in 2023 :)
Here what I see you guys think that its me the problem as im suggesting a right that everyone have.
Me I was a victim of system for rhe CSQ and I took what was right for me.
But me in your position when I will take my PR I will not look back in the group as I have to fix my life for the years that I lost with Mifi and IRCC.

Your comment certainly is soul stirring but you shouldn't assume that people who comment here aren't doing anything for the QSWP treatment meted out to them. Please don't judge those who are suffering for no fault of theirs. Ciao

Your saying that your inland and have 17 months with no AOR this looks not true at all...
I'm just curious
Yes i am inland, i sent my "paper application package" to BRC-SYDENY in late july 2019. Sorry, i was wrong when I said 17 months, it is actually 16 months and in a week i will finish 17 months. :)

Like everyone else, i received a "Fake AOR" after 15 months. So, could we say that IRCC was not aware of the backlogs at the time when i sent my "paper package"? Or
IRCC took 15 months to figure out what to do with my dusty "envelope"?

For applicants, who sent their "paper application package" after March2020, the content of these "temporary AOR" letters makes sense, but for those who sent it before march(covid19) why would IRCC send these letters??
Mea culpa?

So now that, we all are aware of the problem, i would like to ask IRCC officials a simple question, what is the solution that your departmemt is proposing??

And, i hope that IRCC is not just speculating with that immigration commitee.

What your doing than...

I understand, these are frustrating times, but folks are trying their best to negotiate a new policy. And, it will be good for everyone regardless of your personal waiting times. Imagine one day you wakes up and first thing tou find is your "paper application package" returned to you with expired CSQ inside it, what would be your reaction.( I hope that day will never come to anyone, and that is why people are taking time from their busy life to contribute to a QSWP reform as much as they could.
If you have time you can go on facebook and start infiltrating the information, you will find nothing but the "hardship of folks" just to get a damned "Fake AOR" after 15 months.

Have a nice evening friend:)

Is not judging at all, im just trying to say to be together because if they dont move the MIFI and IRCC font care abou us.
We camed in Canada because we thought that is how they promote in media but instead they play with our life's.
We got stuck in Québec and im so disappointed personally but they have to fight back for the rights in every media.
I cant judge them as long as I know how they fill BUT as I said before we have to fix what is wrong because CAQ don't care if we live or die, we're just $$$ for them.

Me personally I have time as I just apply for PR but if they ask for protest about the file I will go.
Today its you tomorrow I can be in your position.
At least IRCC AND MIFI have to be honest because they keep playing with life's of thousands of people that invest money, time an energy...

Yes, now we are talking :) , thanks for looking at the bigger picture.
We participate in these activities so that folks who come after us doesn't have to go through all the hardships we had to suffer.

Thank you.

Edit: Even if you are new applicant and after 3,4 months you get your application returned because of a missing document or signature, you will lose that 3, 4 months and increase the stress.
And i am certain that you wouldn't like it either, since you already went through a packet of hardships for your CSQ.:)
Nobody likes it.

By the way do you know how to obtain the data on "monthly admission of permanent residence under QSWP sorted by visa offices"?? I am breaking my head since few days, hope someone on this thread could help me. I will really appreciate it.:D

I know what your saying and im very careful as I had a bad experience with CSQ (the lost the file...)
Was my lawyers that apply for my PR but as your saying still I dont trust to IRCC.
Is totally uncomfortable and unprofessional all this story and still we don't know who is the Federal or Québec.
Was a bad choice of ours to cane in Québec but now we just can't let them play with our life.
Exemple me im with my family(couple and a kid), im sure that all were doing something good for this country and they still don't care.
I'm a manager of around 45 people and I offer service to another company that have 100 employees i say to all about the immigration news and petitions.
And most of this people have supported me all this time.
Just we have to talk and share our story to people or even better media.
That was the only reason why I succeed with my CSQ

No no, it's not uncomfortable or unprofessional at all. Don't worry about those who are sitting and doing nothing at the bottom of the food chain, because folks at the top of the food chain has got our backs. It's ok to initiate uncomfortable conversations.
And yeah, i can relate to you, i lived with that fear of "IRCC lost my application" for 15 months. And then, i received my "fake AOR" which gave me a certainity that my application kit is not at least lost.
But, the fear of getting my file returned is still there and i am not alone, there are thousands of people living in the same situation. And, this is why we must help folks to negotiate the new policy.
I don't have kids, but i have a girlfriend and i am lucky that she understands, why i am so stressed about my PR application. But, it is really affecting our relationship, i try not to talk with her about all these, but sometimes i just can't help myself. I can't imagine how you handle everything with a family. Respect for you.

But, anyways when we see folks are working to get things moving, it gives us a hope and we really appreciate their efforts.

By the way, have you been following those proceedings of immigration commitee?? If not here is the link.

https://www.ourcommons.ca/Committees/en/CIMM/StudyActivity?studyActivityId=10963216

Seems like our voices are being heared, but still a lot of work to do to achieve desired results.:)

My major concern is the wait time of 2 years for CITIZENSHIP eligibility after we get PRs. They should make it ZERO days for QSWP applicants as we spent so many years paying taxes through this PR process. We should be automatically eligible when we get the PR card in hand.

They have not been fair enough with QSWP applicants, 3-4 years for the CSQ, another 2.5 years for PR and 2 more years for the citizenship. We are talking about 8 years journey!?
They are turning a blind eye and a deaf ear on us..... I hope this would change and someone takes an action...
Wish all of you the best....

Job Offer........
Yes
Off track question : those who are here in Quebec for long time( obtaining CSQs , PR + Citizenship) - approx 5-8 years timeline.
during this waiting time, do you guys invest in RRSPs? is it worth to invest in RRSPs with the dilemma of our PR waiting status ?

This is a exclusive question to the Inland applicants. I am not investment broker or agent. I am individual paying taxes in Quebec and Federal and thinking of saving some $s by investing in RRSPs. but not sure if they are worth or its too risky.

You can go and block the Champlain Bridge to be notorious. Do you know that the Permanent Residency is not a right? Do you know if you fail the medical test you won't be granted the PR? Do you know if something with your background check fails, you won't receive the PR? Do you know that the social media publicity for residency is not by the government?

We can request an explanation of the things but imagine if before to be permanent resident we start to protest, what to expect after being a citizen?

All of us will be receiving our PR. After September IRCC is working again and we can see people receiving their COPR almost every week, even people who applied in March 2019, so please be calm because we are more close to our objective.
