Urgent Processing - Citizenship Application (Lets meet here )

I just sent off my application with a request to be processed urgently on Friday, so December 11th. Fingers crossed

Hi My wife appeared in her citizenship test on January 2020 and still waiting for oath.
Sent ecas inquiry many times but same typical answer delay due to covid.
I got my citizenship before a month ago and at that time I asked CIC-Edmonton though email that why my wife did not get the citizenship and they told that security clearnace is pending.
I don't understand why after citizenship test they are looking for security clearnaces.

Any idea experts?

The time you requested your status by calling IRCC is more than 2 months there is more likely chance your security check will be completed.
There is likely chance the security checks takes 2 months to process . When your Security check completed ? what is your timeline ?

Two weeks ago (1st December) , when i called CIC, criminal check completed, and BC is inprogress. Not sure, what is the current status? My application is processed on October1,

Now I understand from your wifes file the security checks can happen even after taking the test .
GCM notes will capture these data . Experts needs to tell how long its going to take to complete the test,
Criminal checks are mandatory before you getting a test invite, but not the the security checks

yes I do have that email.
I received my oath ceremony request from CIC Edmonton office email and I asked them about my wife's oath and they said that my wife's security clearance is pending.

Yes I did upload doctor's medical report and note. Make sure it's in English or translated and certified into English!
Try to attach as much as documents you can, In addition to your letter of explanation!
I called IRCC today, they told me my file is in Edmonton, and they are doing background check!

When I called they told me still processing background checks! It may be completed next month or beginning of February then If all good I will receive the test invite!

Any urgent applicants got their files moved to Test yet?
I could see initial test invites for some 2019 applicants but trying to see if they actually did anything for urgent applicants too.

No updates yet. I called CIC as the agent mentioned that the BC is in-progress. I am not sure the what is the general time frame to complete BC.

I hope next next year before March, may have test invite. I will keep posted as long as i have an update.

In process since 7th October. Criminal checks completed. BC checks in progress

I guess by March expecting test invite

I sent the webform last week but they haven't responded by an email even acknowledging receiving.
How long did it take them to get back to you or you had to call them
