Not at all. If a file is being sent to a LVO you won't get DM before that, it is being sent there for further investigation from the LVO. If DM comes from CPC-M or O the only thing you will hear from the LVO is for the PPR.
What's better? LVO or VO in general for outland?

LVO or CPC-M or O, is that your Q? CPC-M or O is better and faster because they don't have things that they think need further investigation, but having said that, even with our app being sent to the LVO we still had PPR in 4 months, PRE-COVID.

What I meant, when we become more lucky? If it goes to VO or LVO.....what does O mean?

There is CPC-M and now CPC-Ottawa, that was the O, I should have specified that. If your app stays in Canada it is usually processed quicker than it being sent to a LVO, I don't think luck has anything to do with whether it stays her or is sent to a LVO.

i was struggled to link gckeys with my application,
i thought the "Number of family members" is 3 because i mentioned my son (canadian citizen) in the application,
but it is actually 2 because it is just my wife and me, no co-signer,
it is quite tricky and misleading.

Hi Guys, I 've been desperately waiting and checking the online tracking tool, and reading the discussions here everyday(but never replied). Finally I received an email this morning from Centralized Intake Office which I‘ve been dreaming and praying, it shows my Application Number and

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of XXXXXXand family (if applicable).

A refund in the amount of $285.00 has been initiated. If you paid by credit card, it will be credited back to your credit card account. Otherwise, a cheque will be mailed to you at the address indicated above in approximately six weeks to eight weeks.

I guess it is a AOR? but anyway I was quite extremely cheerful because at least there is an update. I woke up my spouse in China by calling him right away and shared the good news with him.It really cheered him up since we've been in different countries over a year. He checked his email and found a Biometric Request Letter which was just sent out at 1 am, Dec 10 (China time). I linked our application online.

Our application was received on May 11,2020. I know there are people who sent out earlier but haven't received anything yet:( or sent out much later but already got reply. I know it is an extremely hard and stressful time for us sponsors and family members who live so far away. I know it is so sad when we can't even plan a visit towards each other in this difficult circumstance. However, we have to believe that there will be a reunion eventually, let's be hopeful. :)

Its a Good news. Means no more interview or doubts. Some delay can still be expected due to covid or BG Security if not finished earlier. Next step would be PPR :)

@singleman I just saw your signature. Your file moved from Ottawa to NDVO (do you know why?)
Also, did you get acknowledgement from NDVO?

I'm so crushed. We applied for my husband's pr in May! Just received the application back. One of the forms was missing our kid's birthday on the family info form. They are already Canadian citizens so it's a moot point. Stupid mistake and they said we need to resubmit the entire application and start again. We are already living in Canada and my husband's visitor's visa expires in Feb. We don't know what to do. I spent last night crying my eyes out. 7 months of waiting for nothing. I'm not sure if we should not apply as inbound instead of outbound as we are already here? I'm so mad at myself for making such a stupid mistake. I remember how tired I was filling out those forms. Pandemic, working crazy hours with two kids at home, no childcare etc. I just paid $150 for my friend to fedex me the application and paperwork. At a complete loss as I know it will probably be months and months before my husband can even work, have healthcare etc.
