We were in the same situation, I think it is very common. Our payment only covered the AIP and nothing afterwards.

Because,we are seen as cash cows for them.My previous lawyer was just like that.He was just eating my money I kept getting denied.My new lawyer helped with my legal aid and didn’t charge for certain applications.And now I’m getting somewhere.what I’ve learned from this whole process is once your lawyer is not getting anywhere,CHANGE IT!! I can’t stress it enough
