Of course in sense. They can not officially announce to pause anything. But according to the forums and chat groups, they do. Because there is no updates from Winnipeg office in recent months at all. Heard several applicants who transferred to Winnipeg, then transferred again to Vancouver during the pandemic are getting PR.
Yeah. I d k why the heck they are not transferring our files to Vancouver if they can't process it.

My friend git a call from Vancouver last week ..visa officer gave him a courtesy call to let him know that we have processed ur file but can't issue u pr as ur spouse is out of country.. u have to wait for travel restrictions. She further mentioned that this file was in winnipeg for 7 months and they never touched it and that ..winnipeg is overwhelmed with files so they redistributed to us

So does that means those who got ADR from Winnipeg office should not expect their file to be moved to Vancouver? And will remain in Winnipeg office! Or is there any possibility of getting files moved to Vancouver as well after receiving ADR from Winnipeg office?? Since some of my friends are getting ADR from Vancouver office.

That base on your fortune. That's their work distribution and you can not control. Do you think they will listen to you when they don't even want to answer your legal questions?
And yes, if you have been asked ADR from Winnipeg office, your file won't be transferred any more because they are "processing" that.

Let me know if you plan to do that. I'm one of you. But first we need to know how many of us would like to do so, it won't work if less than 20 I guess. We need as many people as possible to catch medias' eyes, and at least one of us should have very fluent English to talk with reporters.

There is no benefit to do anything in front of their building because there is no one working at this time. If we have to do then its should be done in front of the legislature building

Where ever it is, the main purpose is to catch medias' eyes. Of course no one working now even in legislature building. OMG, every time when I talk about they are WFH, I'm so mad. They can comfortable to stay at home but encourage us to go back to work. God knows what are they doing at home! Put feet on the table and hold a cup of coffee in hand? What risks do they have even if they work regularly in office? Do they have to face with anyone? I have to face with hundreds of people everyday at work! What do I say?

Or if there is possibility we all can go to MP office and request to raise this issue and become our voice. The Same was done by one of Australian MP regarding immigration matter and it was get addressed. Just my thought to share.

There is no way you can step in to MP's office now especially multiple people. And I guess MPs are working from home as well.

Did anyone received call from Winnipeg office ? Someone told me that his friend received a call from. Winmipeg saying we will make a decision for you soon
That's weird, Never heard Ircc Winnipeg office initiative to call any applicants. If they need anything from the applicants, they normally email. And "We will make a decision for you" is seem not reasonable enough to let them initiative to call. Maybe they have something important to ask your friend? I can't imagine Winnipeg office suddenly call me, and just to tell me what they gonna do next....Just personal opinion, maybe Winnipeg office has more new staff who work on a different way we don't know.
