This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require:



1) Passports

• VFS is our trusted partner for safe and secure passport transmission. Using VFS services is the only way to submit your passport. Contact VFS in India (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india) or in Nepal (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nepal) and pay the requisite fees for the Passport Transmission Services . A separate envelope is required for each passport.

• Please take this letter and present it to VFS for the purchase of the secure Passport Transmission Service.. VFS will send your passport to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi in a secure envelope. You will then be advised by VFS when your passport has been returned and is ready to be picked up.
• Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military passports.
• There must be at least two blank pages in each passport.
• We are unable to issue a visa beyond the expiry date in your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months.

2) Photographs

Should any of the following circumstances apply to you (or any person included in your application), you must inform this office immediately:

· Change in health;

· The laying of criminal charges or conviction for a criminal offence;

Also, I could gather that you were working in UK and presumably applied with COR as UK while being Indian national, my hunch is that might have triggered a faster processing of your application.

20.01.2020--January 20, 2020 You passed the medical exam.
15.11.2020--You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
09.12.2020--December 9, 2020 You passed the medical exam.

Guys, please confirm following:
1. Medical was extended. Righ?
2. As far as I know Medical is extended ONLY by local office, hence it means my file was transfered from Sydney VO somewhere else?
am I right?
3. Extention means all other steps already passed? Last update through webform was 2 weeks ago and it was mentioned that security was in progress.

3. Hmm in my case medical expired yesterday. It went from passed on 28th Jan 2020 to you don’t need medical. They did mention though that all stages passed in my call to ircc yesterday.

My AOR is 10th Jan 2020.

As far as I understand it expires automatically, because mine was expired exactly at date when medical was uploaded into e-medical program by my doctor.
But extention (if it happened) is done manually by local office. Maybe I am wrong... Need help here to clarify

All stages are valid!
